All I can say is "wow". I took my friend and her sister here for her birthday, hoping the reviews were true and that it would be good. I am not from the area, so it was a crap shoot for me. They were flexible on the time, and my friend and I got to be in the same room which was kind of neat (there are many paired rooms and individual rooms, and the paired rooms can offer more privacy with a curtain). We bought the special that was $53 (cash; higher for CC) for an hour and 15 min. They started a little late, so they ended up doing almost 90 min. I felt SO. GOOD. Even my friend, who has been to the top spas in Manhattan said that was the best massage she had ever had, that they hit literally every pressure point (even ones in our scalp). I felt flat out woozy for an hour because my body was so relaxed. Every person I saw leaving the place looked the same way lol. As I was walking, all of a sudden I realized that my chronic arm pain (since Aug 2012 injury) was relieved. Still greatly mitigated today, two days later. There was this one thing she did that I can only discribe as a pleasant vulcan death grip! It was on my neck, and the moment she did it, it was like every point of tension in my body simultaneously floated up and out. I just kind of melted. It's cool because they balance so many different kinds of massage into one session: foot, cranial, hot stone, deep pressure, asian (bars in ceiling). It was so good. Highly...
Read moreI came here with a friend and we wanted to do couple massage. First of all they should have asked first if we needed a male of female masseuse because not all are comfortable having a male touching us (which maybe related to culture or religion not because we are being racist or having sexual discrimination) secondly after we are assigned to both female masseuse I clearly stated I dont want hard massage because I am sensitive to pain ( I donât know if they really dont understand english or they are just playing dumb because of asking for female ones). She keep on doing hard and its painful. Thirdly my friendâs masseuse keeps on going in and out of the room which causes delay and interruption to the session that is going on. Fourthly, after the massage,, we are generouse enough to give each 10$ because I believe tips are made base on the satisfaction of the customer. But the other masseuse demanded 15$ from each of us which is very inappropriate. We had to withdraw from their atm which charges 5$ per transaction. We donât want to argue because we are educated people and its a shame seeing other customer looking at us. I hope the owner of this massage parlor would hire masseuse who engage talking in english. How can one satisfy a customer if they canât even understand what is soft or hard massage. I donât recommend this place if you donât want your day...
Read moreMy friends and I bought a coupon for a couple massage on Groupon. When we arrived to the facility, we were barely greeted, and quickly sent to a âroomâ. The only thing separating us from the hallways were curtains, which were left half open when our masseuses left (yes, they both left more than once during our massage). After reminding them that we had the couple massage, hence we wanted to experience the massage together, it finally started. No music was playing, and the atmosphere was anything but relaxing. At least 5 times their cellphone rang, and my friend and I were left there for âonly 2 minutesâ (spoiler, it wasnât 2 minutes). My masseuse was being a little too intense for my liking, and I tried to politely ask her to be a little more gentle. But she doesnât speak a word of English, and apparently my constant noise of complaint were not heard/understood. At the end of the massage, which overall was okay, we were not very happy with the service, but we still left a tip. Apparently this tip was not enough, and the lady aggressively came to us asking to tip more, and after our refusal, I proceeded to open the door to leave when she physically placed herself between the door and my friend, completely blocking the exit. I had to drag my friend and pull her away. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. Weâll...
