Lovely church. I came here for the first time during the celebration of the feast day of St. John the Baptist. I went inside and saw someone talking to a lady behind a window, which is where you can buy Catholic items (candles, rosaries, prayer cards, books, statues etc...) I went in to pray then asked someone for information about candles and was directed to a monk or brother who happened to be standing by. He was very polite, informative and soft-spoken. Actually, all of the people there were older and friendly. I learned that the church would be celebrating the feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Succor) and would have a procession on June 26th. The service was from 6:30pm to 8:15pm and refreshments were served afterward. This was a very nice service to attend...

Updating the below review, which had two stars. Thanks to Tom. He followed up, listened, acknowledged the issues, sincerely apologized and took appropriate steps to make amends. Much appreciated.

This church isn’t what it was. If you must have a funeral there or any ceremony of circumstance make sure the priest knows both the spelling and proper pronunciation of the name(s) involved. They are rote and ritual is perfunctory nothing more and they won’t hesitate to relay that sentiment with the...

One of the best church I have ever been to

Fr. Michael is a truly humble and dedicated servant of God. Despite limited help, he has faithfully continued to lead services, especially during weekdays and feast days, without complaint. The small group of volunteers currently supporting the church are also remarkable individuals. Overall, this church offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere to everyone, regardless...

Slowly getting in the autumn mood🍂 SAVE this for your Dolomites trip Santa Magdalena may be one of the smallest villages in the Dolomites, but don’t be fooled by its tiny size, it’s filled with beauty. It’s incredibly picturesque, serene, and ideal for hiking. Moreover, you’ll discover two of the most photographed spots in the Dolomites: the viewpoint in the video and the stunning Church of St. John. And do I even need to mention the unbelievably mesmerizing driving experience to get there? 🙌 📍 Panorama di Santa Magdalena . . . . #italy_vacations #italyguide #italytravel #italysegreta #traveltips #dolomites #autumntrips #voyaged #europetravel #europetraveldestinations #dolomitesitaly #italydestinations #travelitalia #Italianvillages
