Spent $200 on bulky, uneven, chipped nails after 3 hours and she added her own tip and refused to take it off.

Probably worst nail experience ever.

Spent 3 hours in the salon getting a pedicure and manicure. First red flag, tried to use a nail grinder to take my gel nails off. Ladies, please ask them not to do that, it will destroy your nails and is actually a health code violation.

After my pedicure I asked her how long would the manicure take and she said one hour. I told her I prob don’t have enough time and she insisted that she will get it done sooner. Well 2 hours later and she wasn’t halfway done. I politely told her I would need to go soon and gave her 20 minutes and then decided to begin to leave. She yelled at me and told her I rushed her and that I need to pay her $200 plus tip for these bulky, chipped nails. Uneven French tip. She agreed that my hands looks like a hot mess and said to come back Monday so she can fix it. I have no time to make multiple nail salons visits in the same week. I told her she can just discount the services. She refused and then added her own tip. I asked her to at least take the tip off and she yelled at me telling me that she spent her time doing my nails and she deserves a tip.

unfortunately I will have to dispute this charge and have never been more embarrassed to walk around in the press on looking nails. My toe nail gel polish chipped off the next day. I should have known this place was trash from when I stepped in and no one was there.

EDIT: since I’m not an honest person… how about paying your workers livable wages and not forcing a tip on clients who don’t like the service? I’ve been a server and always tip $40+ for nail salons. I did not wish to give you extra money for a service that I couldn’t receive. This is why you have a high turnover rate because your workers don’t want to live off your slave wages. You are not entitled to extra money past the cost of the service. THAT IS THEFT AND ILLEGAL.

Try being professional and learn how to actually do nails and maybe your struggling filthy business would have higher reviews than a 3.9 in...

I really hate leaving this review but I don’t want anyone making the same mistake I did. I came here on Labor Day for a Gel Pedicure. The color I chose was a Cat Eye lilaic purple. I had a call to take and didn’t realize until all my toes were already painted dark black that something was wrong. I showed the lady again the color I asked for and she apologized and said she would redo them. While I appreciate that, one of the mIne reasons for me getting gel was because it was my lunch break. I didn’t have time for her to start over so I asked her to just keep them black… well today two days later, here is what my pedicure looks like. $60 and it’s already falling apart. This is definitely not good...

So I’m giving it a 3 due to the fact that my mani and pedi are nicely done. But to the lady who did my nails she is so lucky I chose not start a scene. This is my first time coming to this place not knowing that tips are in cash . I usually always tip when I get my nails done but for my pockets I tip what I can afford. I ask her could I tip on my card and she said it’s okay , I told her how much I wanted to put and she makes a comment as to I need to tip more.
