Pilates with Janine at The Fifth Line in Brooklyn is hands down the best exercise experience that I’ve had. Read moreI took classes for over a year with Janine. She's very sweet and tried to work around my pre-existing injuries but is also inattentive to the point of negligence. Not only did she not pay any attention to my alignment or correct the way that I was using my abs (sucking in and not engaging my upper abs or pulling together my rib cage), I got seriously hurt twice under her watch. Once was in a class with one other person and the other was in a solo session. It's now been more than a year since I stopped working with her and one of those injuries is still majorly affecting my day-to-day life.
