It would be one, but the produce department is delightful. I’ve shopped here for four years, but the last three months I have observed unfortunate incidents each time I’ve been in the store and I won’t be back. The worst was trying to get help from the deli department shortly after opening. Three than two then three employees again speaking rudely to one another, including the f and the b words. Once I got their attention, they were rude to me too! I left without purchase. The next time, again, staff were making faces an each other about an elderly customer. So disrespectful. Another time I asked for help from BBC a staff member and she actually sighed. Sighed! As if reaching for me was a bother. Training must be non stop distant and certainly not a happy place...
Read moreMy husband bought a pack from ground bison from union market union street from the store and didn’t check the date. I was going make dinner then realized the use by date was last week. I called and tried to get some clarity, someone answered then transferred me to the meat department without a heads up. Anyway, the guy from the meat department just said well you can return it. I said who was in charge, we shop there almost daily, why are you selling expired food. Guy said I’m not the meat manager, you can call the meat manager tomorrow. I then said, do you feel sorry about this, it should be the entire store’s responsibility to make sure the products you are selling premium prices for are not expired. He just goes, fine, sure.
