If you’re looking for authentic Japanese items and fresh, delicious food in Brooklyn, Mitsuki in Gowanus is a must-visit. This charming little store is packed with Japanese grocery items, snacks, drinks, and a great selection of fresh, ready-to-eat meals that taste just like what you’d find in Japan.

The quality of the food is impressive — everything feels freshly made, from sushi rolls and bento boxes to onigiri and Japanese-style salads. The flavors are clean, satisfying, and truly transportive.

The best part? After 8:00 PM, all the fresh food items are 50% off! It’s a great time to grab a delicious dinner or late-night snack at an unbeatable price.

Friendly service, clean layout, and hard-to-find Japanese products make Mitsuki a favorite local spot. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Japanese cuisine or just wants a taste of Japan in the heart...

Okay so, I just learned about Mitsuki earlier today when I was looking for Calpico. I recently had it at new friend’s place and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the taste. Now that I’ve come to visit, it is instantly my favorite place - I don’t even live here anymore so it’s doubly enjoyable that I have a place to come back to during my next visit.

After 8p they have 50% off Onigiri and hot dishes, which I find serendipitous. Pocky has always been my favorite so I was happy to see those, mochi, red bean cake, where has this place BEEN all my life?! At any rate, if you didn’t know, now you do, so get on over here and show...

A Truly Enchanting Japanese Gem! Visiting this store felt like stepping into a cozy corner of Tokyo! The selection of goods is beautifully curated—from delicate ceramics and minimalist stationery to adorable kitchenware and unique snacks. The staff radiated warm hospitality, patiently explaining the stories behind some items and helping me pick gifts. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and they even offer imported Japanese teas and seasonal treats. Left with a bag full of treasures and a big smile! 10/10 would recommend to anyone craving a slice of Japan. Can’t...
