Hi, someone that lived in the neighborhood for over 30 years I really kind of miss when it was just a regular chill spot with benches and people already active in in thriving there. People used to work out there. Yes people used to smoke there but people also used to just get a meaningful second enjoying the view right there. It was great when it was simple and that gate was closed. It’s unfortunate now nobody can enjoy it because they took the benches away. Consumerism really is monster.
It’s funny how everyone says it’s great now yet every time I pass it there’s nowhere to sit and it still always locked. Pre-then removing the benches. It was free and accessible 24 seven. Now it’s basically nothing until “the owner “opens it up . Gentrification...
