Placed an order online for valentine's day. Entered my payment details and a note for the flowers as well some delivery instructions all normal like I've done many times before and at this point I know enough about ordering online that I can expect the order to be delivered. However, their billing lady Denise calls me and asks to confirm the security digits of my card. I asked her why that was necessary and she said for security purposes so no one is using the card for fraud so she wants me to either tell her or email her the cvv. I replied in a calm tone that it seemed less secure to send my cvv to someone. She laughed and said "I can run your card right now if I wanted I don't need you to give me the code, I'm providing a customer service by making sure it's not fraud". I explained, in the same calm tone that it was unusual for stores to call and ask for the security digits so that's why I want to make sure what exactly this call is about. For all I know, I could be getting scammed here giving my CVV to someone who claims they can run my card anytime. At this point, the lady just got really mad on the phone and started speaking very rudely. She said that she was providing customer service and that no one has ever questioned her security verification and that since I was being a tough customer my order will be cancelled and none of my orders will be ever taken at Daniela's shop 1 and 2 going forward. Then hung up the call on me.
I was shocked like "what"? I don't know how she got so mad but for someone claiming to provide customer service, you should be patient enough to make sure the customer doesn't feel like you're pressuring them into providing secure details. You should also try responding with a courteous tone when I wasn't even being rude or loud. I get it's a Monday but clearly she was having a day and took it out on me.
My girlfriend moved just one block away and I send her flowers every month. It would have been the easiest repeat delivery job for the store but if you don't want my order that doesn't really bother me.
Plenty of scams going around, don't call like a scammer and then threaten to revoke my order because I asked why you need my security code as calmly as someone could. You're the one who loses business, not...

On Valentineās Day I went in to purchase flowers with one person in front of me as she was assisting another customer, I waited patiently when she was done with that customer, by this time a few customers had entered the store. When she was done she looked at me and saidāyou need to get to the back of the lineā. I explained I was second in line and she objected stating ā. I saw when you came in and youāre not second, Iām not helping you because the other customers were here firstā. The other customers turned to her and said āno he was here before us ā. She then passed me on to a worker that could not speak English and put together the worse arrangement ever. I even asked if she could put a ribbon around a cookie box i purchased from a bakery and she said āno itās against store policyā A young man worked in the store was willing to assist me with the ribbon but she objected strongly and watched me the entire time.
Needless to say, friends and family members stop going to that flower shop just because of bad service and terrible attitude. I would never ever go back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve walked passed this shop plenty of times and theres always a nice set up of beautiful plants and flowers. I finally stopped by, and I didnāt feel welcomed at all. The girl standing outside didnāt say hello, and she didnāt ask if I needed any assistance she just starred at me the whole time I looked at plants. I finally picked out a really nice and healthy Pothos plant. But, since i was not let inside the store, (i guess do to covid) I was not able to buy a new pot or some potting soil for my new plant and the lady working didnāt even ask me if i needed something else. She just rung up my plant and gave me the change. It was just a cold, lacking transaction. I hope if i decide to stop in again, I can get some enthusiasm and help since I'm no plant professional and would like to talk to someone who knows plants. The plant however is thriving and I love it.
