During my search for more authentic Mexican food, we found this place. The inside is really small, with just few tables. But, I also heard that they have recently done some renovation, and expanded the space a bit. And there it was, to the left side of the cashier counter, a new space with interesting wall murals which was still work in progress.

The menu had ample amount of offerings, but we didn't really know what to order. That happens when you are not super familiar with authentic food items... I wish if they had more pictures on the menu, so that we know what they look like, and make it easier to order. While we looked over the menu, they brought us some chips and very small amount of salsa. They were ok, nothing special.

We had some fruity milkshakes which were pretty good. Then ordered three tacos each, which were very reasonably priced and they were tasty. While the tacos and milkshakes were good, the service was not so much. We didn't even get a glass of water, but maybe we had to ask for it. I don't think they came to ask if everything was ok, not even once, but this is not that kind of restaurant here, it seemed. It is more of a quick bite or to-go order kind of place. But, that also makes you feel not very welcomed. I always appreciate warm service at a restaurant or any eatery place. I don't think I will go back, but it was a good to experience an authentic joint. Read my full review of this restaurant and food on my food blog,...

I called to order and i asked do you guys deliver and she said yes but you gotta tip the delivery guy because he lives out off tips that was the first thing that made me feel uncomfortable since i just had miney for the food then next i proceed to order and send my husband to pick up the food.Up front when i ordered i asked for her to put sauce in my bag instead when my husband went to pick up she said no no sauce she wont be able to handle the spicy which it makes no sence since she doesn't know me,then to top it off it was supposed to be 11 dollars for the order but when he picked it up she charged him 12 i have gaven him a 20 dollar bill and he came back with only 7 dollars which mean she took and extra dollar and pocket it.I sent him back to get my dollar and she got angry at him and said are you serious for a dollar amd she reached in the tip bowl in other words this woman tipped her self with my money😮 what a thief😡 and then after arguin for my own money she took it out and gave it back with attitude. and of course that its not the right thing to do.Tacos where good but they need a new honest good humored person...

It’s hard writing this review because Taqueria San Pedro used to be one of my neighborhood takeout staples, but it’s evident that the quality of the food has gone down and the prices have gone up. An order of nachos here used to cost 7.25, and as of now they cost 15$. Even pre-pandemic their food prices had been rising an ridiculous amount and now it’s just tripled. The quality of food has most definitely gone down as well. An order of nachos used to come steaming hot and the container would be jammed pack with beans, chicken, and tortillas. Now your food comes soggy, half cold and half empty. I can’t confidently say that with the way Taqueria San Pedro is currently operating that I would ever order from...

WARNING!!!!!Today Feb 27th, 2019 I ordered a Carne Enchilada burrito and an agua de orchata. While I was eating my burrito, I bit something unusual. There was a piece of glass in the burrito. See the picture. When I called back, the manager said that he was going to send me another one in replacement. But I really don’t want it, it’s very dangerous to serve glass. So be careful when eating at this place.

Been here 2 years ago one morning and the Lady was frantically getting ready for the shop. We were hungry and all she had were tacos. Let me tell you their tacos are probably best in town LOCATED UPPER MANHATTAN. Now I'm back and happy to see she went from a small stand inside a store to buying another shop next door. Keep on eating my friends!

The place for tacos uptown! Welcoming service ensures quick and filling meals alongside the coldest beer you could want with authentic Mexican food. Excellent food, low prices, friendly and efficient service makes it my place for tacos and beer. Some number of summer afternoons were spent out front people-watching.
