Working with Eugene and his team has been simply amazing. You hear so many stories of how buying/selling a home, especially in new New York, is a nightmare, but working with the Litvak team was the opposite: They make it easy! It's clear that Eugene has taken the effort to really master every aspect of his job, from financing to marketing to negotiating to client services. (We should also add therapy--because he was able to reassure us more than a few times that everything was under control and to leave all the stress to him!)

On the purchase side, we ended up buying a place we thought we weren't even interested in--a prime example of how, as experts in the field, Eugene and his team knew what we actually needed/wanted better than we did. After we realized that was the home for us, Eugene patiently walked us through various options to help turn what at first seemed like an impossible situation into a reality. On the sale side, Eugene managed to get us an offer without ever listing our apartment--just three days after staging was completed! On top of that, the offer was over ask in what's considered a bad market! We couldn't have asked for a better scenario. We're so glad we took Eugene's advice to stage our apartment--after which, we actually thought to ourselves, "Why move? Our place looks amazing now!"--because it made a world's difference.

I recently used Eugene Litvak and the Litvak Team at Compass to sell my unit. Eugene is the fifth broker I have used during my 10 years of buying/selling in Brooklyn and Manhattan. The first thought that came to my mind when I began using his team is that I wish I met him sooner.

From day one, his entire team makes you feel like you are truly their most important client. There are multiple team members on each e-mail and a response to any question is given extremely quickly in an organized and structured manner. Not only is the response rate quick but their knowledge of Williamsburg and where the market is going with new retailers and developments truly put my mind at ease from day one. My unit was never listed and sold off-market and the communication I received in regards to potential buyers and open houses and timing was something I have never experienced in the past.

I was Eugene's neighbor in the building and not only is he an incredible Real Estate Agent, he is a loving husband and father and has been an incredible personal friend to me as well. My roommate and I worked with Brenna Prochnow to find an apartment in New York, and it was the best decision we've made. Brenna was extremely helpful, communicative, thorough, knowledgeable and on top of all that, very friendly and a pleasure to work with. My roommate and I were moving from California to New York and knew we would have to sign a lease before physically seeing the apartment. Before talking to Brenna, my roommate and I were pretty uncertain/nervous about the NYC real estate market, especially as people who have never lived in New York and were moving from California, but once we met with Brenna we immediately felt comfortable knowing she would take care of us.
