We travel the world and if you look at my many other reviews 99% are positive. Not clear on why they are highly rated. My low rating is for the following reasons: 1. The food was meh TBH. The cafe latte was great though. 2. If we were not meeting 2 other people there we would have left immediately because of the very less than welcome reception and serious attitude from the person who greeted and was going to seat us. He was snide, rolled his eyes at us and was generally very unpleasant. Basically all the staff seemed like they wanted to be somewhere else. They have a policy of not seating until everyone is there. TOTALLY fair TOTALLY get it (i've worked restaurants) ZERO problem with that - but they just abandoned us instead of saying we could wait a the bar or sit at a 2 top next to another 2 top so when people arrived (btw in 5 minutes) we could start with our coffee. SO there were other 2 tops vacant but only ONE that was free next to us. We ask if we can sit there. Then when people arrive they can push them together if still free. We get it. If the resto fills up in 5 minutes then that's the policy but we know our friends are literally 1 block away so we feel pretty safe that all will work out bc there are 3 other 2 tops free in the room. What does the guy do who knows we have people coming in 5 minutes? YEP - he seats the next person dining solo at the table NEXT to us instead of one of the SEVERAL OTHER TABLES and SNEERS at us!?! I then say, "so when our other two arrive who are one block away you are going to move us to that 4 top by the door"? and he rolls his eyes. Then he says, 'ya but are you ordering food'? And ya, we were...3 hungry guys worth albeit I was just having a latte and running. BUT he then moved us from our two top to the 4 top and as we are sitting our friends walk in. Hubby reported that his biz associates thought the food was definitely MEH as well. Cute...

Decided to take my mom somewhere local for Mother's Day. We went to Cafe Colette, and instead of getting a delicious lunch, we got diarrhea. The burger we got (ordered medium) came out as rare as a tartare and was inedible. The center was still raw while the outside looked fine. Only after a couple of bites did we realize how disgustingly undercooked it was. I was stupid enough to only take the picture after it was taken away. The waiter did everything he could to remedy the situation (thank you for trying), but the damage was done. Needless to say if I want raw ground beef, I'll just go to my supermarket next time. I'm not going to be giving this place another chance anytime soon.

The music was too loud, at least if you actually wanna talk to your mom on Mother's Day.

Even though they have more staff members than patrons, it took close to 20 minutes to get me a cold brew.

The salmon farro bowl was ok.

And my dad did enjoy his fried chicken salad, so there's that.

But if you have a limited amount of items on your menu, everything should be spot on, the burger was absolute trash, and that it was this rating...

Came here before with my friend and really enjoyed it. We came back today for his birthday and I went early to tell the employee working that it was my friends birthday and to please come out with a little chocolate cake so I can sing him happy birthday.

It was supposed to be a surprise. We sat down outside and after we got our coffee we were ready to order and after about 35-40 min of waiting I went inside to ask that same server if we can order. Another person came out. She seemed to have a bit of an attitude and took our order.

After we got our food and finished eating we weren't serviced again. Asked for the check and I'm expecting for my earlier request to be remembered. . . Nothing.

Didn't love that. Didn't really love that I asked for something to be charged to have a nice surprise for my best friends birthday and that couldn't be accomplished.

Service was slow, not a lot of people around the time we went (2:30pm) we left at 4:30 after slow service. Didn't want to continue our night...
