Katherine is a wonderful gemologist who patiently worked with me over several months to bring to life the design for a family ring that I could see in my head but not find already made. We started with a picture of a ring that was somewhat like what I wanted. Since the company has their own CAD designers, they were able to adapt the original design with the elements I wanted, and then create 3D renderings of the final product from 4 different viewpoints. Being able to see a true-to-scale picture greatly reduced my concerns about making a significant purchase without physically seeing the actual product! When I finally received my ring, I was ecstatic - the workmanship and quality of the metals and stones were superb, and the ring exceeded my original design expectations! The customer service across all four sites is exceptional and Marie championed all four of my loose stone purchases and an earring that was custom made for me. My journey with the Natural Gemstone Company was a pleasure from start to finish. I described to Lauren over email, then phone, what I was looking for to create a single custom stud earring. Several days later she had a presentation of a wonderful assortment of stones for me to look at, with a helpful printout of detailed descriptions and pricing. She was infinitely patient and helpful in describing each stone, in helping me make my choice, and worked with me to design a setting. I am thrilled with the final product - a mandarin garnet in a rose gold basket setting - and will be returning to design more pieces with her help.
