3 West Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. We found the venue just 3 months ahead of our wedding date, so the planning was fast and furious. Our wedding coordinator Victoria was truly a fantastic collaborator. She was always very positive and cheerful in our nearly daily back and forth communications and answered all of our questions, large and small, in a very detailed and organized fashion. She provided us with ample of good advice and is extremely helpful. When we went in for our tasting, it is apparent that we picked the best venue! The entire staff is detail oriented, even putting up an event sign in the lobby that it was our tasting that day. The food was all delicious and the chef presented everything personally at the tasting and showed his passion for making fine cuisine. On the day of our wedding, Victoria and the head of staff services were there to ensure everything was going smoothly and that all our needs were taken care of. The server staff was beautifully efficient and courteous, operating quietly in the background allowing guests to enjoy themselves. And the bartenders were very friendly and provided good service. We held our cocktail hour at the Lounge, which has a great old New York feel, and also held a Chinese tea ceremony there. Our reception of about 50 people fit comfortably in the Solarium giving our guests access to great views of the cathedral all evening from the large balcony area. We also reserved the Library and an adjoining room for the bride’s costume changes and ‘getting ready’ photos with our photographer. 3 West Club truly did an immaculate job in making our day perfect. Frankly, perfect is an understatement! We went to another wedding 2 weeks after ours and it was even more apparent how lucky we were to have picked 3 West Club for our wedding. The service, friendliness of the staff, attention to details provided by 3 West Club is TOP notch! We received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue is and our guests were just impressed with the service and how delicious the food was. Throughout the day, everything happens so seamlessly - thoughtful collaboration with us on the overall plan, i.e., timing when food would be served (for our guests and vendors), floor plan for the reception and cocktail hour - what works well with our decorations, how it should be organized to give our guests a roomy feel, enough space for our first dance, etc. I could go on and on describing how MARVELOUS 3 West Club is. We couldn’t ask for a better venue and staff to work with. Victoria and 3 West Club staff, THANK YOU so very much for making our celebration such a perfect day. If we could, we would give 10 stars to 3 West Club!

My teen and I have stayed somewhere different every time we go to New York. The 3 West Club is by far our favorite hotel so far and where we want to stay when we return to Manhattan! PROs: LOCATION – 51st and 5th Ave. Midtown across the street from St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the Lego store, down the block from Radio City Music Hall, NBC studios, and 30 Rock/Rockefeller Center Historic Suffragette headquarters with gorgeous 4th floor lounge and library (open to guests and super quiet) We were literally the only ones who used them. The 9th floor solarium has breath-taking view of St. Patrick’s. When it’s not in use for private events, it’s open for guests to hang out. You can Door Dash food and eat it up there. Easy walk to 5th Avenue shopping and Diamond District, Times Square and the Broadway Theatre District, Hell’s Kitchen/Off Broadway Surrounded by affordable and extravagant places to eat (fits all budgets) Concierge is super friendly and knows all the best places to eat. Thanks to Cindy who made great recommendations. Also easy to Door Dash from local restaurants. Can easily walk uptown to Central Park or downtown to Grand Central Station/Bryant Park Easy to catch the Metro at Rockefeller Center Very clean affordable rooms with comfortable beds, decent plumbing, and great maid service. Can get a fridge on request. The hotel was relatively quiet compared to other places we’ve stayed. Restaurant recommendations: Gregory’s Coffee (local chain); Toasties (local chain); Midtown: Joe’s Soup Dumplings (off 5th Ave on 48th) Broadway/Times Square: Ichiran for Ramen; Ellen’s Star Dust Diner for your Broadway fix; Don’t Tell Mama’s Piano Bar for your late-night Broadway fix. Hell's Kitchen: Carve for late night (8th Ave and 47th) BEST slice I’ve had in the city; AND our most favorite discovery: Real Kung Fu Little Steamed Buns Ramen (on 8th Ave at 49th). We ate there 3 times and Door Dashed once. Try their pork buns, scallion pancakes with beef, turnip puffs, Peking Duck buns – YOU’RE WELCOME! CONS: Not your traditional hotel – no vast lobby (but the 4th floor lounge makes up for that) or pool No restaurant except Thursday and Friday. Be sure to plan for the DRESS CODE. No room service. We Door Dashed just fine. Rooms are small (but that’s everywhere in NYC) Sometimes the Lounge/Library and Solarium are off limits for private events (especially weekends)

After reading some of the reviews I was expecting this place to have its problems. However, after staying I have to admit I really enjoyed it. My wife booked the place for Christmas weekend, knowing that I like hotels with character. That is normally true but in certain cities I always go with the chains (i.e. boutique hotels in tropical areas sometimes have trouble keeping spiders the size of wall clocks out of guest rooms) She picked this place in September and it wasn't until mid december before I actually looked at the location and read reviews. I ended up packing a space heater and white noise machine since two reviewers said it was noisy and drafty. Neither ended up being necessary at all. In fact it turned out to be a wonderful. It's set in an older building right next to the Rockefeller Christmas tree. The room keys are actual keys with cool old locks that are fun to open. We actually would try and reach for our keys first to be the one to play with the lock like little kids. The rooms look like guest suites in a sophisticated home of days past. There is also a solarium with a balcony, library, lounge, ballroom, restaurant and pub all fit into this 9 story ~25 room hotel. They were pretty empty for the holiday weekend but I brought a sport coat per the websites directions so I could wander around at will. Some reviewers made a fuss about the dress code but that's ridiculous. I'm a commercial carpenter and if I can takes ten seconds to fold a jacket up and put it in a suitcase then any gentleman can. All in all the place was great. The beds could be a little softer but my after a few nights on them I think maybe my bed at home could be a little firmer. Any cosmetic issues people spoke of should be left as is. The building is historic and the irreplaceable woodwork should be left in place. The people that want to change this place would probably say Mount Vernon needs an open floor plan with walk in showers and a movie room.

3 West Club was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding day. We got married at the end of October and planned on 75 guests, many of whom were from out of town. The location was ideal for those traveling to NYC for the first time and wanting to be in the center of everything.

From our first inquiry, Jonah (the on-site coordinator) was quick, efficient, and incredibly helpful in answering any questions or concerns we had. We ordered the Silver Package which came with an open bar, 3-course meal with tastings included, and a suite for the wedding night, with upgrades available for everything. We also had access to the venue for the entire day, which allowed the groom to get ready in the Library and the bride to get ready in a rented room. Due to its history, it made for a beautiful and dynamic background for pictures as well!

The venue was intimate and classic, with several open spaces that allowed our guests to mingle comfortably after returning from a separate location for the ceremony. We started in the Solarium for a cocktail hour which had stunning views of the city and where we could watch the sun set, before moving to the Grand Ballroom for the reception. Many of our guests stayed in rooms at the venue or around, so it was an easy trip back for most.

The food and drinks were absolutely amazing - many of our guests raved about them far after the wedding, and were especially impressed by the quantity and service (they cater to dietary restrictions as well). The 3 West Club team went above and beyond to make our day special, even allowing my sister (the MOH) to check in early so she could drop off my wedding dress. They also prioritized serving non-alcoholic champagne to the groom, which was a thoughtful touch, and our guests complimented the staff and how fun they were during the reception!

Lastly, I want to thank Jonah for being such an incredible support and help during the entire process. He was always available, even handing out his personal cell, so that we could make sure to get in touch. He provided recommended vendors who ended up working perfectly since they were familiar with the venue, and was adaptable in working within our budget and our timeline. Plus, he's a fun and friendly guy who just made working with so many moving parts much easier.

I cannot recommend 3 West Club enough for couples looking for a beautiful, intimate, and high-quality wedding venue with an incredible...
