I will never trust this store or UPS again. We had to get an important document to my son in North Carolina. We paid $46.57 to make sure it got there ASAP. The envelop[e was lost and never found. There is no way to know where the package was lost - at the store or by UPS - since the first scan for tracking purposes does not take place until sometime after it gets to the sorting location. The store owner did call me and expressed his apology for the lost envelope but none of that fixes the grief my son has had because of this lost envelope (including a possible lost job opportunity). UPS did an "investigation" as well but I can't properly relate what I think of the kind of people (4 of them) who called us during this investigation. They actually asked if we had a problem with the package! Yes, we had a problem. It is lost!!! UPS eventually gave us a $250 "goodwill" payment to ease our pain. Since it cost us $187 because of this lost item, the extra $63 is hardly considered "goodwill" by me and my family. It hardly puts a dent in the number of hours spent running around to fix the problem and the worry over identity theft that is still not over. I was told, when I tried to explain my feelings about the amount of "goodwill" that "goodwill" payment are non-negotiable. I will never trust this store or UPS again for anything but prepaid returns of...
Read moreSo I was one of those horrible customers that comes running in 2 minutes before the store closes because I was having printer issues... Let's just start there... I live across the street and called 3 minutes before it was about to close and said I was coming and asked if I needed to bring my own envelope and the guy goes "oh well the computers are going to shut off..." I said, "Wait, what? That doesn't answer the question, do I need to bring an envelope or now?" The guy goes "Oh, no you can buy one here."
I came running in and the guy gave me a rude sigh (fine I deserve it for coming in 2 minutes before the place closes).
Then he says "Okay so the UPS guy just left so this won't get out until tomorrow." I said "Sure, that's fine, I just need to send it"
Basically everything I did and said he wanted to give me bad news, but I wasn't phased. Then the UPS delivery person who he said left came back into the store and said to me "Oh, I can wait until you're done to take your package." Which is the only thing that redeemed this UPS store. He was kind and waited the minute for me to put the address and mail off my parcel.
I get that it's not ideal for a customer to come 3 minutes before closing but just help me so I can be on my way without the rudeness unless I did something to truly deserve it. This person was just having a bad day and I happened to be a...
Read moreI went to return my Nuuly shipment yesterday. There was a long line so the worker told me that if I didn't need a receipt, I could just leave my (already labeled) package there and he'd scan it shortly. The next morning I could see that the package was not scanned as a part of intake... so I went back to the store. Lesson learned: always get a receipt. I could see 6x Nuuly boxes behind the counter. I explained the situation to LISSETTE and JOHN S and asked if they could find my box and scan the (previously overlooked) label. They were COMPLETELY unhelpful. Keep in mind that I'm the only customer in the store at this time. They refused to even look at the limited amount of Nuuly boxes behind the counter for my name. They asked for a tracking number, which I didn't have on hand. I asked them: if I went home and found it, could I call in? They said yes. I then called EIGHT times, and they never picked up. UPS says they pride themselves on their values - one being service. "We put our customers first, delivering best-in-class service for businesses of every size, across countless industries and geographies. Our commitment to our customers fuels their success and strengthens the global economy." Lissette and John S did not demonstrate good service...
