I have to say is by far the most unprofessional company I’ve attempted to do business with. Initially we set a meet up time to assess the scope of work, the representative (Joel) arrived two hours late to the meet up times being that it was not convenient for her. Once I was able to confirm a scheduled date, I requested a call the day prior to just to reconfirm the company will be the next day. I never received that call. The morning of the work date, I found myself calling the person being in contact with to see if they were still coming, to be informed they would be two hours late. When they (Joel) got here she gave me a run down of what would be done, and why, she also tried doubling my initial quote price because she left out a big portion of the work I needed done. Once I reminded her of how minor the work would be she the. price dropped tremendously. She then strung up the tree, and sent me a text requesting I pay her the deposit, after being outside for about 15 minutes she tells me that she has a issue in getting up the tree and does not have the equipment in hand in order to do so without harming the tree itself. She also informed me that it’ll be an additional hour Both ways to go retrieve the equipment needed. I responded no problem, let me have the deposit back until you return and are able to begin working. Her whole entire mood, energy and mannerism took a turn for the worst. She began rolling her eyes, sucking her teeth, referred to me as you people. She told me that she has been outside for hours stringing up the tree, and that she would not be returning my deposit. I asked her to please take a breather there is no need to be hostile we can have a discussion, she then immediately said cutting me off that she will call her manger and ask if she could do so because this is unheard of. After getting her manager (nick) on the phone and me requesting several times for her to put the phone on speaker that way I can listen in, he informed her that the conditions will not permit the type of work needed and to reschedule, he also let her know that there no issue with returning my deposit he much rather me having quality work then a botched and rushed job. She then reluctantly returned my deposit and said she’ll be back on Tuesday to complete the work I took off work and made myself free to be here in order to accommodate them on their arrival. It’s now Tuesday and I receive a text at the scheduled time that they will not be coming to complete the work today because the owner is in Alabama on a job when will I be free. I let Joel know that today was the day in which we agreed upon meeting and that I would like for the manager to contact me. She then just sends me a number sating I forwarded your request but basically to contact the owner myself. She responds that the manager is driving a truck from Alabama and will contact me when he can, then proceeds to tell me how nice she has been and how I’m being rude and condescending. I informed her I requested to have the manager contact me and she responds with a number, she then proceeds to tell me how she’s been nothing but professional since day one which is false and if I don’t want to work with her that’s fine. I am now getting my yard done by a company by the name of Ralph Padilla Tree and Shrub Service. They were here at the scheduled time, earlier actually, and has been more then professional upon securing them for the job. They have gone above and beyond as far as customer service and even completed way more then I asked for and still less than the inflated price given to my by Joel. I share this long story to say this, if you need yard work done and you pass a TreeARMY truck on Webster between 233 and gunhill, do not use them. They are not professional and they’re completely money driven and don’t know how to interact with...
Read moreMy Mom is 83 years old, legally blind, and as stubborn as is possible for an Irish woman living on her own---"cos that's the way I like it"---she will say. So it was no surprise when her neighbor called to tell me his tree had fallen into Mom's yard and possible damaged her garage roof. And that Mom was trying to cut away branches with hand saw! I'm stationed at Ft Brag in NC so I accessed the internet in order to find someone to remove the tree (which turned out to be about 80 feet tall.) I found the Tree Army Co. and picked them just because of the name. It didn't occur to me that they actually do hire vets to work! Long story short---The Army showed up the next day, removed the tree and in the process, cut and stacked about 2 cords of wood for Mom's fireplace. They also repaired the fence that was damaged and inspected the garage roof which fortunately did not sustain any damage.
If Google would allow me to give them 10 stars I wood, I mean I would. I can't praise them enough. Also, the owner Nick and his wife Joelle are retired Army and make it a policy...
Read moreUsed Tree Army to cut down and remove Oversized Oak Trees and their service was top notch. Nick and Joelle presented a detailed proposal explaining the tree cutting process and answered all my questions along the way. They were fully prepared and had all the tree cutting equipment and machinery, they kept me updated as the tree cutting was taking place, they emphasized on safety at all times which stood out to me as I've seen other companies doing sloppy work. What was most impressive was their knowledge of trees and how to remove them as Nick is a licensed Arborist, he knew all the science about cutting down trees. I will most definitely use them again in the future as they are also working for a great cause using Veterans as they are a Veteran owned company. Really impressed...
