How can the City of New York allow homeless shelters to be clustered so close to one another? There is another shelter located at 321 E Tremont Ave, The Bronx, NY 10457. The neighborhood is overrun by unemployed men who loiter and wander aimlessly. Some of kindhearted individuals simply down on their luck, some are mentally ill and unfortunately not receiving proper housing or care, and some are career criminals who only serve to bring more crime into what is primarily a working class family neighborhood. This sort of facility really ought to be located in a more industrial area to limit its quality of life impacts. If they are to be located into family neighborhoods, they certainly shouldn't be clustered so tightly together.
