I went to this shop on Thursday for a custom mug. I asked if they could do it on the spot. They said yes but there will be a rush charge of 5 dollars. They said if I want I could come early am Friday to pick up the mug. We agreed on Friday morning. I paid 20 for the mug and then 5 extra for the rush fee. I went back to the shop on Friday at 5:30pm the store hours say they close at 6. When I got there the owner acted surprised to see me. Saying she didn't know I was coming. Then they said the mug isn't ready they just started working now on it and it would be another 30 minutes to an hour. I was celebrating fathers day early and couldn't wait the extra hour because I had plans. It ruin my the Celebration plans I had with my husband. Also on Sunday I returned for the.mug and they told me it would be in a drop box. For me to call so them & they can give me the code. The code they gave me did not work and the store was closed. So I had to wait in 90 degree weather for a worker to come with the key. Lastly the picture on the mug was very faded. Not worth 25 dollars. Im understanding person however communication & quality is key. If you charge 5 dollar extra for a rush fee. Then you should have rush to get the mug done in a timely matter. Also they had my number and email. They could have called and told me the mug wouldn't be ready on time. Instead I wasted time and gas to get there and the mug wasn't ready. However I did like that the store is female black own and they were friendly. So because of that I won't give them a 1 star. I'll will give them a 2 stars although they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEm the owner is by far the most unprofessional person Iāve worked with. As a black woman I pride myself in giving my people my business because I believe in recycling money within our community. Business owners like Em put a sour taste in your mouth when it comes to working with your kind. Em does not honor deadlines or agreements. Em pretty much March to her own beat and when held accountable sheās full of excuses as to why she hasnāt honor her agreement in the timeframe agreed. I started off being very understanding and accommodating. Unbeknownst to me, this was a green light for Em to take advantage of my patience. From the moment she took on the job I got excuse after excuse. Excuses ranging from, her needing a new cutter, being exhausted, running errands, staffs having Covid. Letās just say I placed my order and made my payment on 6/6/22 for 50 boxes to be customized. The agreed date of completion was 6/17/22. Letās just say I didnāt get my order until 6/25/22. I plan on doing a YouTube review on this company and positing the text thread between myself and the owner to support this well deserve review. Stay tune folksā¦I will be uploading screenshots of our conversation. Get your wine and popcorn ready and search for another company to work with in...
