I am giving this place two stars because the owner is money hungry. She wants to charge me twice for something I already paid for...one of my nail broke the same week I got it done but never had time to go fix it but today. She wanted me to pay after I already paid for it. It crazy and I notices that she always wants to charge for every single things. For example I get my pedicure done with gel polish and I was charged extra $15 for gel. I was fine with that. Paul told me he had the perfect gel polish to match my nails. The girl who did my pedicure told me is $15. After everything was done ready to pay the owner told me is extra $10 more for the liquid gel polish. I was like no it just $15 not $26. I will never go back over there. I used to go there every other week for Paul to do my nails. Paul is the best and he is very professional. I have been going there for almost two years since they used to be Nook. But the owner is money hungry and always forces customers to get something...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been coming here for my manicures for over a year now, and every time i was satisfied with the dip n powder manicure.. this time however i asked for the price breakdown because everytime with minimal or different work they would charge me $65-$70- so the nail tech told me some random pricing, like: cuticle clean up: extra $5, just a line for design :$15 - i was like why didnt u tell me the price to which she blindly said āno i didā i remember very well she did not , however here is the thing- i feel i hve been paying way too much i should have been, cuticle clean up is a part of a manicure, if u are not doing that then what really did u do in my manicure other than filing and polishing my nails?? And then the audacity to keep shutting me down by saying - no i did , no i did.. i am not going there back, they overcharge u for every little thing.. and i am hoping not to be harassed or shamed for this review- hopefully, the only way being not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI got a regular manicure and while the lady that did my nails, I assume was the owner, she was very nice. However, she kept on pushing me to get gel nails. Iām not a fan of UV lights or gel nails because of gel nails weaken the nail bed so I almost often opt for painted nails. Usually I do them myself but decided just to get them painted.
I usually paint my nails nude or light pink when I DIY at home and know these colors are harder to paint because 3-4 layers are needed and each coat has to be very thin. I thought for sure a professional would do a better job than me. I was wrong and wasted $25 for unsatisfactory nails. Might as well flushed it down the toilet. At first only two coats of color was painted and I asked for a third coat. The brand she used was Gelish. The work was a sloppy and uneven, air bubbles, excess nail polish. Ugh, I do better and Iām not a professional.
One pro is my arm is now exfoliated and smoother...
