When I began working online as a writing tutor, I needed to upgrade from my tiny 13-inch laptop with a very limited memory to something that would enable two simultaneous side-by-side screens that I could endure looking at for 6 or 7 hours a day, and that had the power to do that. Sadly, it took only about an hour cruising the internet to realize I could in no way afford a new computer with the size and memory I needed. I initially learned computers on Macs (those little iMacs that schools had in the '90s - remember those?). Meanwhile, I knew Moze from having him as an outstanding student when I taught high school, and knew he had a business selling computers. Thus, I messaged him via Facebook Marketplace and asked if he had any large iMacs for sale within my extremely limited budget, and he made me a VERY good deal. I bought what I fondly call Big Mac from him - a 27-inch iMac - and had him upgrade it to a total of 1 terabyte of memory. This baby has proven to be a speedy and reliable worksource for me, as I am online literally all day and often use memory-sucking long Zoom sessions to tutor students.
