Oh yum! Our new favorite butcher. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The beef is delicious. There is a depth of flavor to all the meats. Even things like chili and spaghetti are enhanced by extra “beefiness”. They always have a smile, a recommendation of how to prepare something, and general words of meat wisdom. For everyday dinners, I go there first to see what I want to make for the next few nights. Local beef, chicken, pork. I was really excited to have another local butcher shop in town, but was really disappointed.

My wife and I tried the jalapeño/cheddar burgers and maple breakfast sausage. The burgers didn't have any jalapeño flavor or heat. The maple breakfast sausage didn't have any maple flavor and didn't taste like much of anything. Both had a very strange texture that was off-putting.

Prices were reasonable for a locally sourced and owned butcher shop. But when compared to other available options we were disappointed. Maybe we'll try again at another time, but for...

We have been to the shop twice and are very impressed with the quality of the products available and appreciate the interactions with the folks working those days. There were a lot more meats and cheeses available in the deli in our second trip and those prices cannot be beat. Their fresh steaks are not cheap but are beautifully cut and look very fresh so the few extra dollars would be well worth the investment. We plan to visit...
