The owner really doesn't like kids. When I was younger I would be kicked out as soon as I was noticed, even if I was looking for a Christmas present. The owner threatened to call the cops on my friend and I for playing guitar 100 feet from his store last summer. He said, "I'm not threatening you, I'm just saying that if you continue to play I will have no choice but to report you to the police." We are experienced musicians just trying to spread some joy. I call this business "a shoppe of curiosities". Signs, models of schooners and vehicles, books, nightlights with seashells and many other knick knacks in this two level shoppe. The sales associate was very friendly and helpful. My friend, she was drawn to the outdoor signs, especially the one that said "Relax". I noticed "Made in the USA" on the back 🔙. I was drawn to the half size school bus because it reminded me of the bus my kids take to school. Merchandise is pricey, but, the sign I bought for my friend was worth it. I don’t even know where to begin. There are so many wonderful things to say about the Brass Lyon. I absolutely love this store so much to choose from. I bought a beautiful Cape Cod bracelet and I’ve had so many compliments on it. The store manager Kristine was so helpful and very, very patient. I kept going back-and-forth and couldn’t decide what I wanted exactly and she just waited and made suggestions and she is absolutely wonderful. I will definitely be going back.
