TLDNR: Best of British?? BULLOCKS! Not when it comes to customer service following my online purchase. Maybe more like WORST of, mind you. I purchased a Barbour jacket online from this place, however, the item did not fit well and I wanted to exchange it for a different size (if available) or just simply return it if no other size choices. Here's what went down STARTING on the day I received the package: Day one: Tried the item on as soon as it arrived. It doesn't fit well. Bummer, but it's alright as I'll exchange it for a different size or return it BUT there are no instructions whatsoever in the package on how to exchange or return the item or how to even contact them if there's an issue. Day two: I found two emails for contacting them - one for their Shopify store in the order confirmation email and one for their supposed "support@" on their website. I emailed to both addresses a couple of times. Both emails BOUNCED back. Day three: Called their Newburyport number listed on their website. No one picks up, no answering service or a way to leave a VM. Later in the day, called their Newburyport number again twice - at different hours before closing. Who knows, maybe the place is rockin'? No one picks up, no answering service or a way to leave a VM. Same outcome. Day four: Found a different number for their Concord location and called - no one picked up but there's a greeting. Left VM. Day five: No response. Repeat #s 3 and 4. Someone DID pick at Newburyport store! BUT the lady with a Hispanic accent tells me that she cannot help me as "I NO SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH and gives me the number to call the Concord location instead. So I do, am greeted by another recorded message and leave another VM. Day seven: No response. TODAY: Returning the item to the Newburyport Store listed as the sender's address on the package and I have to PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING. Including a copy of this review along with my contact info for someone to get back to me within 24 business hours after receipt of package to confirm that the item was received back along with an estimate of when to expect a refund. Should I not hear back in time, disputing the charges and filing complaints with BBB and their local Chambers of Commerce. I don't even WANT the bloody jacket any longer even if they had the right size.
Not sure what kind of ramshackle store this is but never giving them my business again. I spent $$$ and, more importantly, my time trying to sort this out.

I received a confirmation email of my order being placed but never a peep more. I had sent a note asking when my order would be shipped about 2 days after my order was placed - still no response. Then I got received a notification from USPS a shipment was expected to my address 2 days later. The sender name was vague yet I held out hope. Never did my order update in the "shop" app. While I received the order within 5 days of placing my order and it was packed perfectly, It was the lack of communication I was concerned about. I was expecting a traditional English lavender. Sadly, there is nothing. Nothing fragrant. Nothing rancid. Nothing at all. I think this particular item just missed the infusion of scented oils somewhere, somehow, along the production line. Disappointed to say the least, but rather bemused, as well.
