Market Basket Plaza — Local services in Newburyport

There are several great stores here to choose from. I go primarily for the Market Basket supermarket, but there are also a Walgreens and a Marshall's that I drop into sometimes. There are also several convenient fast food restaurants and a bank on the front of the property. The Chase bank is brand new and I am so excited for this, as it is the first within about a 25 mile drive. There is ample parking throughout the plaze, though how close you can get to your preferred store depends on the time and day. Another great feature of this shopping plaza is that you can drive right through to Port Plaza, for even more stores, including a Shaw's supermarket, Santander bank, great Chinese...

Bought a pizza at market Basket . The whole bottom was burned . When brought to the attention of the" cafe" manager her reply was . They can't check everything that comes out of the oven . Mind you it was not busy . Only pizza in the oven . And take 2 seconds to lift up the pizza and see how it's cooked . This isn't the first time this has happened . Ty hey used to have good pizza . Now they are sending you to seek pizza elsewhere as there are 2 other places that just opened up that sell pizza . I will not order another pizza from there . I've only visited Market Basket. This grocery store is similar to the Portsmouth Market Basket. It has a Market's Kitchen, RedBOX BOX and recycling machine for plastic bottles and aluminum cans. The only stores I remember that were at the plaza were Walgreens and Marshall's. Plenty of parking 🅿️. Update: September 2025; Walgreens and the RedBOX BOX are gone. RedBOX's parent company declared bankruptcy and all of the BOXES were shut down and removed. Facemasks required to enter stores. The plaza is probably owned by the DeMoulas Corporation.
