My fave affordable gourmet pizza coming at you from @portpizzanbpt Open: Year Round Seating: Indoor Price: $21 Order: 1 large Big Mac Za Bonus: Take the pizza into downtown, park in public parking, and sit on the grass along the riverfront park (in front of Sea Level). Top off with a small cup of legit Italian gelato from @dolce_freddo_gelato or a mega sunday from @hodgiestoonbpt if you're still hungry after.

Pros: Finally a gourmet pizza place that doesn't charge $25-$30 a pizza. Pickles, onion, lettuce, tomato, beef, and that secret sauce. If you get takeout, lettuce is kept separate from wilting because they are professionals. Ronald McDonald would be proud. For the record, I still talk about the BBQ Chicken pizza regularly and highly recommend it from a prior.. eh hem... research exploration (last picture). In the same plaza as Market Basket in case you forget any other supplies like milk for the week.

2/22/25 - It's been many years since we have come to this location, as we have moved from the area. We were back in Newburyport for a few days and had a hankering for some good pizza. Really glad we listened to the good reviews we found from others, and will be back again after the great experience we had.

We were greeted by a friendly face with a smile when we walked in. He said "please" and "thank you" and overall was attentive over the counter as well as his staff behind the counter. We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 orders of chicken fingers. The pizzas were loaded with ingredients, (no skimp on the pepperoni at all) The chicken fingers were large and meaty and loved the BBQ and sweet chili flavor.

Prices were reasonable. Food quality was delicious. Experience was definitely 5🌟. Keep up...

We typically order the pizza or rice bowls, but tonight we decided to order wraps. I ordered the chicken teriyaki wrap with lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, carrots and pineapple. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the teriyaki was just right - flavorful but not too overpowering and not too salty. The veggies were fresh, crisp and delicious. We also ordered the California wrap with chicken (again cooked perfectly!), bacon, avocado (they didn’t skimp like most places and it was perfectly ripe), hard boiled egg, tomato and avocado dressing.
