Richdale Convenience Store — Local services in Newburyport

I love the store they have a lot of great things that they sell but after a few years of using their women’s bathroom the smell has gotten worse it’s like there is a cat box in there, but it is actually the cement around the tiles becoming soft, I have been getting nervous of me and my daughter sitting on the toilet because of how many people use that bathroom and I’m just worried for them that one of these days the toilet is going to fall through the floor because of how unlevel the floor has gotten 😕you can start to see how the toilet is starting to sink in to the floor, Our family have a routine of going to Angie’s every so often to have breakfast and to walk around Newburyport and usually before we have breakfast we go to the bathroom and over the past few years the upkeep of the bathroom has gotten worse, even last week the bathroom had a broken soap bottle I’m just getting nervous for whoever goes to use the bathroom and they end up falling into floor, i’m just trying to be a good citizen and let someone know so that they can fix up the bathroom so that people have a better experience of going to the bathroom when...

Terrible customer service first night I came back into town their was an older lady working their I was having trouble with my debit card. She decided to check my experation date on my card herself because of what the screen was saying. Which was strange and I felt very uncomfortable trying to get my card back and swipe again to test.Why it wasn't working. Second problem I had was when I was paying with food stamps I tried to buy cough drops which I was sure you could (turns out I was wrong) but I asked him to scan it and he refused to scan them he had a manger come over to tell me he could not scan it. Which made no sense to me why he couldn't try to scan it. I then left after being told I was good to go I was half way down the street before I heard yelling behind me and was told I didn't put in my pin. When I tried to I was told I wasn't typing hard enough which was rude. Terrible experiences twice I will be going to CVS they have self check out better selections and helpful...

Very poor service will not be returning here ever again cashier was rude yelling at me telling me I need a $5 credit to use the machine whoever invented these rules is stupid disrespectful man never coming here again told him I wanted to just get item with something under $5 just very disrespectful people and need to take that credit rule down immediately I don’t suggest people come back here if they keep making a stupid idiotic rule with disrespectful people who don’t know how to listen if you don’t want to give a $5 credit then you don’t have to plus this was never an issue before very poor service and not understanding workers I give you people 0...
