NU Kitchen totally blew us away! If you’re on the hunt for a vibrant spot with great energy and even better food, this place is a must-visit.
We absolutely loved the Vegan Tofu Banh Mi – perfectly crisp tofu, fresh veggies, and that sauce? Unreal. It’s an easy 10/10 and an absolute must-try.
The Strawberry Experience Waffle was pure brunch bliss – sweet, fresh, and beautifully plated. Avocado Toast hit all the right notes with creamy avo and just the right amount of seasoning. And let’s not forget the Vegan Banh Burger, a flavorful, hearty option even non-vegans will fall for.
For drinks, the Strawberry Banana Smoothie was refreshing and naturally sweet, and the latte was smooth, rich, and expertly made.
The vibe? Immaculate. Cozy, colorful, and perfect for catching up with friends or just treating yourself. Brunch lovers, this is your new happy place.

Read moreI've gone 3 times now to NU kitchen in Newburyport and I really wanted it to be my new go-to spot. It has beautiful decor, friendly staff and convenient hours for a customer with an irregular schedule (most places here are closed between 3 and 5 but not NU kitchen). However for a healthy eats establishment, it's been very disappointing. I've gotten the turkey avocado panini with the cucumber salad. The salad was not fresh and tasted a week old. The panini for some reason came as a wrap and was not warm or toasted and also tasted as though it came from fridge storage despite taking 15 minutes to make. I gave it another try and got the southwest salad which was even worse. The beans and corn looks like they came directly from the can and not rinsed. The three tiny pieces of avocado were completely brown. I'm sorry to say I've gotten much better at chipotle in regards to taste. The two stars are based off the few positives I mentioned and the smoothie my husband got, but there are SO many smoothie places in Newburyport and no good salad places to grab and go. Reading the other reviews I don't understand the disconnect from my meal experiences but I'll likely be back to try the acai bowl before completely writing...
Read moreNu kitchen has been on my radar for a while now since I’ve been visiting downtown Newburyport and let me tell you the wait was well worth it!
Today I ordered the turkey burger on ciabatta with a fried egg, pickled onion, lettuce and some sort of aioli. Accompanied with a side of spicy cucumber salad. This meal was to DIE for.
The ambiance is relaxing while the decor is inviting and chill! Service was great and the price was well within its value.
Don’t take my word for it, If you’re ever in the area of downtown Newburyport give these guys a visit and see for yourself!
Total recommend with 3 thumbs up!
Edit from second visit
Today’s breakfast was a hot cup of coffee and sandwich! $9. And some change
The cracked fresh egg n cheese with bacon is served on toasted ciabatta. It was a Tasty choice so glad I got it,
I take my coffee black so it’s best to be consumed hot so ….. If the coffee isn’t hot enough to burn my tongue I don’t want it …..
This coffee is perfectly hot and bold in flavor with no sticky after taste!!
Love...
