I inquired of a few jewelry stores in the area and I received an eager and appreciative response from Newtown GM, Bobby May in less than 24 hours. I contacted them in regards to a Tacori platinum & diamond engagement ring for my girlfriend so needless to say, I was hoping to find a group who would be part of the celebration rather than just make a profit. That's exactly what I experienced. Additionally, as a gay woman, it was crucial to me that the person I work with is accepting and supporting of my relationship. And again, that's exactly what I got! Bobby May is the most enthusiastic, hard-working, considerate man I could have asked for. Every step of the way he made sure I knew every detail and worked tirelessly on my behalf to get the prospective rings shipped from the designer to the store over the weekend to ensure their arrival on a day that fit my schedule. I received e-mails from him at all times whether he was in the office early in the morning or late at night. Between our communication over e-mail and meeting in person, Bobby is someone who I am certain I will return to for years to come when it involves quality jewelry. I wouldn't be surprised if he met my soon-to-be fiance and I out for dinner some time. At the beginning of my search for an engagement ring, I called several jewelers around Delaware and Chester County to shop around and see a variety of different diamonds. When I called Benari, Mark answered the phone with his very friendly and professional demeanor and made himself available for an appointment with me almost right away. When I arrived at Benari and first met Mark, he treated me like a member of his family. He is not only a man of great hospitality but a jeweler who loves his trade. I simply told Mark my budget and he guided me to the section of the cases that fit my numbers. While I looked, Mark gently and respectfully advised me on which diamond and setting that not only fit my budget but also fit what I knew my fiancée liked and wanted in an engagement ring. One of the best parts of working with Mark was how he never once tried to steer me in a direction in which he knew I could not afford or was not in my fiancées taste.
