This was our 3rd visit to Turning Point, and it will be our last for a long while. This location is one that you really want to like, because itās new and well-decorated, and on a good day, the food is fine. But the service is so consistently bad that itās just not worth coming back. The good: decent food, healthy options, tasty coffee. The bad: We waited 20 mins for a table in an almost empty restaurant. 7 tables left while we waited and we still werenāt seated. People would come in, wait a very long time, and give up and sit at the bar. Rather than recognizing the problem with people not being seated, the absolutely oblivious and tone deaf manager walked out and commented to the employees, āItās nice to see a lot of people sitting at the bar.ā I was dumbfounded. How did she not realize people wanted to actually be seated and were just ignored by the hostesses? Later, rather than helping to clear tables and get orders out faster, she stood chatting with waitstaff about how great the Christmas decorations looked. I donāt think staff realize we observe them, hear their conversations, and form opinions based on that. We were seated and waited 20 more minutes for our coffee. We were not given water until the food came. My food was cold which did not surprise me, since the staff stood around and showed no sense of urgency to take care of customers. We ultimately spent over two hours thereāway too long for a quick stop for brunch. I donāt think the staff are necessarily badāI think their leadership has no skills or ability to train them. Ultimately, service issues at this location fixable with new leadership. The floors were also filthy, with old napkins and food everywhere. We are done with this location for now, having given them 3 chances since opening with no...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have debating whether or not to review this restaurant because I really can't complain about the staff or management. They were very nice and accommodating. To be honest the food was OK. I came towards the end of the shift..I got the breakfast bowl. Half the potatoes were good, half were hard dry and overcooked. I asked for scrambled eggs with Cheddar cheese and they put a layer of cheese on top of the potatoes and placed the eggs on top. If the potatoes were fresh, the meal would be decent though. My pancake came out on the cooler side so it make it a little dry but I can tell that if it were hot and fresh, it would be good. My waiter who was great, noticed I didn't eat it and offered to take it off. Again, the service was great. My BIGGEST complaint was that there was a dog in the booth in front of me. Sitting in the booth. Owner was feeding the dog off her plate, engaging hugging and so forth. I'm a healthcare professional and I am completely against this. I understand laws but make the pet stay on the floor and provide them water. Cross contamination is real, the staff is servicing her not knowing the dog has just been all over the plates sniffing and waiting to be fed. It is known that dogs mouths are not clean and they carry bacteria and parasites regardless of how cute they are. The staff was fully aware the dog was there. I didn't mention this to management as I had another issues that needed to be handled and didn't want to bother. Again, I would like to know, so I wrote the review. Everyone doesn't like pets around while they are eating and I feel like there should be some policies in place so that everyone can be comfortable, hygiene is maintained, and "service dogs"...

Every item is an 8-10 rating. Turning Point, in my opinion, is better than First Watch - which is pretty good as well. TP I think has a more innovative menu, lots of healthy options (wellā¦.somewhat more healthy) and in my two visits, very consistent good quality food. Well prepared ā¦. And good service. Not just the main dishes but the sides that come along with it are well prepared and presented (potatoes, chicken sausage, etc) The French press coffe is a favorite and so is the Kale drink (no added sugars, no syrups, no added flavors!!!!!! Yaaaaaayyyyyy) - really well done in a cup size that is just right enough to drink and not in a bucket to wash a car!!! My favorite dish is the eggs Benedict with corn bread and chorizo- a novel item I havenāt seen elsewhere and just a 10/10!!!! (Put some Tabasco on it) And my wife and daughter both really liked their omeletteās and choc chip pancakes as well!!! Toast and muffins well prepared - not just thrown in as an afterthought sidey⦠I would highly recommend this place ⦠Good job all around - we will definitely...
