Normally I don’t post negative reviews unless I feel it’s really validated. Well this one tops all. I asked for pricing on the plants outside and they seemed annoyed. He gave me a price list that was four pages with the plants not having the names on them. The owner said I was hasty taking the paper out of his hand! He was very angry and I felt threatened. The best organic grocer in the area. Difficult to find and tucked away on north state street but is the literal embodiment of a diamond in the rough. I’ve lived in the area for a while and can say that Newtown can get pretty boring, but finding this little supermarket was a great surprise! Wonderful selection of small batch and organic goods. I love the owner Chuck and Amanda who work here. They are wonderful to deal with. I buy all my flowers and great fruit and granola and special ice cream bars.
