My phone's screen was broken beyond use and after a couple days of shopping around, I brought my phone to this Batteries Plus Bulbs on a Monday, the manager told me I would get it back by late Wednesday to early Thursday of that week, which was quicker than the other places so I went with them. They reached out to me Friday to tell me I could pick up my phone but when I got there, the new screen wouldn't recognize any touch. He then said he would have to take the phone apart and look into it and he would let me know what the issue was. He said the screen was defective so they would replace it for free for the hassle. I didn't hear anything from them until I went in myself to see what was taking so long the following Thursday. Now there was a new manager at the who told me all the screens they got were defective and they would just replace my phone expect that would take a week to a week and a half, I asked if there were any other options that would be quicker and he again said he would get back to me. I decided to just get a replacement at this point because this store has done nothing but waste my time and annoy me even more about the situation. Read moreI ordered online to pick up at the store. I forget to enter my discount code for 10% off so I called the number on the web page. I was told that it was no problem. Nothing could be done over the phone but that the clerk at the store could issue my 10% off, no problem. When I got there I had to wait 5 minutes while the only clerk in the store was discussing over the phone what the store sells. When he got off the phone I explained my mistake and he started telling me that there really was no way to add the discount at this point even if I had the code number. I told him what the online people had said to me and he started groussing about how they shouldn't tell people he could fix this problem. The phone rang again and I had to wait for at least 5 minutes while he discussed a car headlight with a potential customer and then their procedure for checking car batteries. He got off the phone and started to tell me why he couldn't add the discounts. I stopped him and said that after making a paying customer wait while he did a sales job over the phone was unacceptable. Batteries Plus had the item and from reading the reviews I knew this was the right purchase. I went to their website and was able to easily order on line and pickup the battery curbside.
The website was easy to navigate. I found I was able to get some discounts for ordering online and even a rebate!
I got an email 10 minutes later telling me my order was ready. Ryan answered to phone and was friendly and asked me to wait a moment while they got my order ready. Matt came out and installed my battery right there. Took my old battery and they refunded my core charge. We tested the car and it started right up!
