If zero stars were an option that is what this place would get. I was lied to by the representative. Told that a hotspot "came with" my service and was told it would only be one price a month which it ended up being more and it does not "come with" and I had to pay an early termination fee to get out of the contract for a hot spot that I said I didn't need but the sales man said "it comes with it." I called the at&t customer service and explained the story and they understood and were very helpful but the return of the hot spot had to be made at the store and the manager wouldn't allow it because the purchase was made over 2 weeks ago and two weeks is their cut off. By the way I was only 3 days after that 2 weeks and I you don't get your bill until a month after. So it's not like you can even see your bill before you decided if you want to keep it or not. And I explained to the manager how I didn't ask for it but the representative acted like it wasn't a choice and gave it to me like it wasn't a big deal. And she said he didn't work there anymore and was therefore not responsible for what he sold me. As if it wasn't them who hired him and therefore took that responsibility when they did that. And when I say he gave it to me I seriously mean he got it out and started setting it up and didn't even say a word about it until I asked him what was it and he said it's a hot spot and I said I don't need one I have WiFi and he said don't worry "it comes with it." The unfortunate news it that the only thing that actually "came with" the service I received at this store location was lies...
Read moreDo not use this store unless you're a masochist. We upgraded to an iphone 7 plus and traded in an iphone 6. We were never given a receipt for the trade in because their printer wasn't working. I received a notice from ATT that my device was never received almost a month after trading in. I tried calling the colley ave store several times, but there was no answer so I called ATT directly. ATT rep calls the store literally 2 minutes later and they answered right away, they tell the rep that the phone was sent out already. Now were almost two months from when we traded in the phone and we just got another notice from ATT that the phone still has not been received. They have already billed me for the entire amount owed on the previously traded in device. Called ATT and since the previous rep noted that the store said they sent it in, they will credit my account on my next bill. I've traded in/upgraded phones before and never had this happen. This is the first time I've used this store and it will be the last. Read moreI accidently retired my phone and felt Amish for 48 hrs (no offense fam! (but you prob shouldn't be reading this anyway)). I was on a business trip in the Norfolk Va area/far from home and reliant on my tech to assist my communication/intel/travel and was distraught that my phone had died. I have been with At&t for ages but have never had better service at any site like I received from associates Matt and Tariq. Finding the trifecta of comprehensive knowledge, dynamic personality, and customer service is a rarity and AT&T scored twice in the same area code. If you don't mind a longer drive, skip the one down the street from you and take that trip to Colley Ave, call and inquire if either sir is working or roll the dice that whoever answers is on this level of service. I'm typing this now bc of how great my experience was. I remain immensely grateful. If any other reviews are negative- they didn't have Matt or Tariq helping them/their expectations exceeded reality/ or they were hangry.
