This place has no concept of good customer service. After two separate bad experiences, I will not be returning.
The first incident involved a rude employee during my dog's bath appointment. Four weeks prior, my dog had been sprayed by a skunk. I treated him at home, but whenever he got wet, there was still a faint skunk odor. After his bath at Pawtopia, while checking out, an employee asked if he had been sprayed. When I confirmed, they rudely informed me that skunked dogs weren’t allowed. I explained that it had been four weeks since the incident, and I had treated him at home, but they showed no understanding or professionalism—no apology, just attitude.
The second bad experience happened last weekend when I returned for another bath. Upon arrival, I was told there were two people ahead of me, which was fine. As I waited and browsed the aisles, an older employee approached and asked if I was there for a bath. I politely confirmed, and she made a point of emphasizing how long I’d be waiting. Since she seemed to have an idea, I asked if she could give me an estimate. Instead of a helpful response, she rudely lectured me about how she had "no idea" and that some people take 45 minutes.
A simple, professional response like, “I’m sorry, but wait times vary depending on each person” would have sufficed. Instead, she chose to be dismissive and condescending, lacking basic manners, customer service, and professionalism.
I'll now be taking my business to the dog wash in Moore. I'll happily drive the extra 10 minutes to avoid giving another cent to a business that doesn't value...
Read moreLiterally have never felt more unwelcome in a place in my life. Came in to buy my dogs harnesses, treats, and some other products, and got followed, and even bumped into by an employee pretending not to follow me like a shoplifter. Was immediately followed and watched upon entering. Treated like a thief from the second I walked in the door, and I shouldn't have spent the money I did, nor did I even continue browsing for all the things I came to get.
Went to Petco instead and spent my two hundred dollars on things there instead. They don't treat you like a criminal when you walk in to give them money.
Ridiculous. Avoid this place unless you look like Poindexter, or you'll be treated like a criminal. So if you want to come spend money, make sure you're ready to have all hands on deck so you can't even walk down an aisle or browse.
They'll strike up fake conversations with each other on every aisle, fake being on their phones and suddenly be on the aisle you're on, and just treat you like a criminal the entire time you're there, but suddenly all disappear the second you go to check out. They can't answer basic questions about anything, because it throws them off guard when you ask an actual question needing help, because they have to stop their fake conversations to answer. Worst shopping experience I've had anywhere in my entire life. Rude. Do better. I spend $700 a month on pet supplies that I will definitely continue to...
Read moreThis used to be a great place when Charles was running it on the weekends. However, his staff leaves a lot to be desired. From being pretty much ignored to not cleaning the bath stations well to lacking in knowledge about products, I'm not impressed. To top it off, today, I walked in at 1201pm through the unlocked front door (hours state 12:00-5:00pm on Sunday), only to have the chick with colored hair who drove the gray jeep nastily tell me to give them just a minute to get everything open. Maybe you should change your hours to 1205, 1215, you know, whenever we get here and get everything open kind of hours. It's 90 degrees outside with blazing sun and I have a double-coated dog who can't tolerate that kind of heat. I gladly gave them a minute due to the employees attitude - permanently. I used to rave about this place, but the long lines for the bath at times, the unclean bath area and the times I've tried to go with my dog for a bath only to find they are having an adoption event and there was not a single place to park make me tell people to go elsewhere. ...
