El mexicano — Restaurant in Norman

It’s cool. They’re actually located now at Berry & Robinson in the parking lot of Green Buffalo Dispensary. Food was fresh and good quality! Cheap too. But it only tasted like the individual ingredients. Not much flavor. Then again, I’m a white dude maybe desensitized by Taco Bell. The carnitas tacos though were VERY dry and crispy. Even doused in sauce. Therefore, I recommend the burrito since it has sour cream and beans that keep it from being dry, and the mulitas which are just meat and cheese mini quesadillas. Ingredients are fresh and otherwise good texture. Their sauce is pretty bland too. Might come here again, but nothing I’m going out of my way for. Not bad, but...

This is by far the best taco truck around. The el pastor and carnitas is the best in my opinion. The carnitas is actually carnitas! Nice and crispy… instead of the mushy pork most places push out. I never get carne asada because I enjoy other meats that have more going on as far as flavor goes. But I will say even their carne asada has flavor. Pretty impressive. I have tried all their meats and they are all really good. Can’t go wrong. If you like authentic carnitas and the best el pastor you will ever have, check...

Sooo the presentation is there and I love that they have the lime, relish and hot sauce packets but the food was just okay. I got the chicken tacos and the chicken was cold and didnt have much flavor. The sauce and relish literally saved the meal. The tortillas were perfectly toasted.

Customer service was so so. They werent rude or anything like that but no smiles and they did...
