In my opinion, management and employees lack integrity and ethics. My 74 year old mother and step father went in to upgrade their phones one which was still a flip phone. They told the associate they were not tech savvy and instead of helping make sure they made the best tech decisions to support and help them she talked them into a jet pack which is a wireless wifi device. They had no clue what they bought as they believed this person was being genuine in assisting them in their lack of technology and were not trying to "upsell" them. My mother mentioned the mobile bill went up more than she thought so I looked at it and said something is wrong you need to go back to the store as they added a new line. Well she finally made it back to the store to try and resolve and she called me and asked me to talk to the associate as they did not understand what she was talking about as she was telling them about the jet pack and how it is a separate line (which they still had not opened as they really did not know what it was). I asked her to return the device and refund them and she stated she could not as it was outside of 30 days. I asked to speak to a manager and after a long wait he did call me but again stated he could not help and they "signed" the documents and asked why they did not have someone with them to help if they both struggled with understanding sometimes. He told me he could not assist he would have to escalate but would call me back the following week. It has been 3 days since he was supposed to call me back and still no word. Do not let your older parents, grand parents or friends go to this store as they are more concerned with upselling than providing authentic and genuine customer service. In addition, she even upsold them on insurance for all of the devices including the jet pack. My step father had his old phone for 15 years it was still a flip phone and barely uses his device and they upsold them into paying $14 a month each for his phone and the jet pack as insurance. I truly hope that people become aware of this type of behavior and help prevent our older generation from being taken advantage of in places of business that should be demonstrating compassion and support. NOTE: I sent an email as requested in the reply below and have not heard back... It appears they are really good at trying to say the right things but not so good at following through or doing the...
Read moreMy husband had an issue with his phone, sounds kept going off but nothing was happening as in no emails, texts, nothing so we went to the Verizon store in N.A. and we met with Jamie the "Solutions Specialist" he took the phone for 2 minutes and said it was fixed, he said the sound was coming from emails, well I knew that wasn't it then he proceeded to ask me what kind of phone and service I had trying to sell me a phone and Verizon service etc., so we left and the my husbands phone was still making the sounds. After 2 hours I fixed it myself and it had nothing to do with emails. After a few months I decided I wanted a new phone and service because my carrier wasn't great and we went back to the NA store and I got Jamie again. I picked the phone I wanted and Jamie got us a plan for $85 a month (that included 2 phones and a tablet), great, well I got my first bill and it wasn't $85 so I called Verizon and they said I had to go to the store and talk to Jamie because my bill will never be $85 AND I also received a letter stating that I was enrolled in the "Total Mobile Protection Plan" which I didn't agree upon and cancelled that. I went back to the store to talk to Jamie about my bill and he was transferred to the Mansfield store. My point, be careful with these guys who think they know everything and make sure it's in writing what you're going to pay! I had it in Jamie handwriting but I couldn't...
Read moreWorst professionalism I have ever experienced. One guy phillip tried to tell us we wouldn't find a phone under 600$. When I told him I found one for 192 he proceeded to tell me it has low memory and won't take a SD card, I made him open it low and behold you could put a SD card. I also purchased a red gizmo gadget for my son the newer model that's touch screen and the guy removed and opened in front of myself and two others it was the correct one. He sold it for ninety bucks. When I returned home the watch was PINK gizmo pal last year's model. I don't understand at which point he changed them out. I told him atleast four times I have a boy. I was going to deal with the pink until I realized it was wrong model. I drove a half hour back to store only to be told I had to pay 75$ more to get what I originally wanted. knowing I didn't want to spend too much he played it off as though the red gadget was 90$ then gave me an old one so I'd have to return and pay the difference. The manager Corey was dumped by a friend of mine a couple years back said there was nothing he could do. And as I left the store before I pulled out of parking lot all the employees were laughing about the situation. Absolutely unprofessional. I was disgusted. I called corporate while I was still in the parking lot. That's how...
