Falling River Meats — Local services in North Bend

I’m not normally one to leave reviews, but this place is so high quality, I have to spread awareness! For those who don’t know, this place is half butcher shop, half sandwich shop. One of, if not the top accolade here, is that everything is hyper local from Washington state. High quality ingredients DON’t make you feel terrible after you eat them!! Today I got The Joker sandwich. Incredible balance of flavors going on here and staked a mile high with meat. I’m telling you guys, this places some of the best sandwiches in the state of WA, and could compete with any, sandwich, sub, hoagie, grinder from the northeast. Nothing but commendations for Falling River Meats. Their first catering job was for my daughter and son-in-law's rehearsal dinner at Volition Brewing Co. Boy did the parents of the groom nail it choosing them! There was something for EVERYONE, no matter one's tastes, food sensitivities, likes, or dislikes. It was beautiful, incredibly varied, and absolutely DELICIOUS! I wish I'd taken photos of just the food. (I'm reluctant to post photos including individuals present at the event.)

Went to the butcher to get sandwiches with my wife today. We ordered 2 of the peakers at $15 each. It was supposed to be brie cheese and ham. Unfortunately it only had 2 little pieces of ham on each sandwich, definitely not worth the $15. We have not only spent a lot of money on 2 sandwiches but they weren't even that good. Won't be returning to buy sandwiches anytime soon. If you are going to charge $15-25 per sandwich, they need to be the biggest meatiest sandwiches you can buy, especially from a butcher.
