Okay so I'm only giving County Market for stars for the fact that their prices are a little higher than the Cubs or the Walmarts of the world. It's a 5 star Grocery Store as in the employees are kind, helpful, respectful and there when you need them. The shelves are always stocked, you can find a lot of items that you can't find at Walmart or cub but you'll be paying anywhere from 10 to $0.25 more for it. Overall if there was a four-and-a-half star button I would have hit that. So with that I would definitely do my shopping there if I lived in North Branch or surrounding areas and that was my place to shop. Great town and great people! Naw...I'm switching it to 5 stars cuz the people are that great! Who cares if you have to pay a little bit more when the employees actually want to help you unlike Wal-mart where theres a hundred employees and no one will help you. County Market does more with less and doing it with a smile on their face! Thanks for keeping the small town feeling! Ohhh and they have a US Bank...
Read moreCounty Market has definitely raised their prices above and beyond where they should be at with the current post pandemic and inflation rates. They should be ashamed of themselves for price gouging and crapping all over the community who brings them business. Now I will travel out of my way to avoid the only grocery in town as to NOT support this type of business or its borderline extortion on pricing. Nothing like paying double or even triple in some cases for groceries than other places within a 20 minute drive. Other points of contention are the burger for one is loaded up with water so when you cook it you'll get a pan full of it instead of the normal fat that would render out. Another is the produce which is just a sad disgrace as most are old and should've been tossed out about a week sooner as the vegetables have sunken pits and are mush or are wilted or dried up. I avoided this place now and only go there...
Read moreEnjoyed Country Market as a store. Very nice, clean and nice assortment. One suggestion though, next time the store let's young boys from the North Branch hockey league stand in the entrance of the store, I believe there should be adult supervision. I was there on Saturday, Sept. 29th and as I entered I chatted a bit and gave a few bucks towards their registration fees and went into shop. As I came out of the store the boys were talking to others and once they seen me asked again because I am sure they forgot and after I said, remember I gave few bucks as I entered. As I I turned to walk to my car, the one boy yelled " LIAR".......I turned back and looked at those ungrateful boys of North Branch hockey and said, maybe I should ask for my money back!!! Rude little boys like that need...
