i would give this location a 0 star rating if I could. I used this location for a one time trip to wash cabin sheets and comforters. The machines continued to stop working right before the spin cycle. The people running the location blamed it on a water pipe that had broken in the city. I can understand that but it was a huge inconvenience when 7 loads had to be redone because the were sopping wet. That really wasn't my issue though. I used there money machine to get tokens and quarters to use the machines. Because the machines did not work i had to ask for a refund which was $24. I did not use tokens for all the loads i used quarters. They will not give you cash back only tokens, even if you used cash. They knew I used cash and there was a "manager" who came in and could see the quarters in the money slot but said it is there policy to only give back tokens or slips of paper that could be turned in for tokens. I told them this was a one time use for me and that I would not be able to use the tokens- she didn't have any authority she said to change policy- i have never had a business not be able to make a common sense decision on something they knew happened, the machines stopped working mid cycle and i used coins to run another cycle but refused to give me money back. She told me i could sell the tokens- I couldn't believe she said that. I don't know anyone in North Branch- who would i sell them to. Anyway i called her manager and he said the same thing- apologized said he understood where i was coming from but could not give me cash so i wrote the company on their website. 4 days later and no response. I highly recommend you do not use a Maytag coin operated Laundry facility in the state of MN. This owner has no regard for customer service- I even told him I did not want the money at this point but an apology with acknowledgment that the managers have to have some authority to provide a common sense solution. it is obvious to me they have no intent of doing the right thing when it comes to customer service. They take your money but will not refund money. If they only offer refunds in tokens they should not take money. It seems like such a silly complaint but let me tell you they must feel like everyone is out to steal from them but in essence they are stealing from their customers. Take my warning go somewhere else to do...
Read moreThe machines were clean however, they never changed the place where u put ur laundry soap & softener to the front of the machines like they said the would. Pine City had them in front. Easy assess. North Branch doesn't. In North Branch u have to stand on a small plat form that the washer is on & there's nothing to hold on to. I've fallen off a few times. That's y I prefer to go to Pine City if I'm alone. Safety reasons. I hope they honor what they said & fix the North Branch washers for us Disabled People. Also, there should be @ least 2 people on site to answer questions. We as customers aren't getting paid to train other customers. My PCA & I don't mind helping but, she's there to help me. That's what I have a PCA for. But, when we see people struggling, we have to help them & we stay there even after my laundry is done to make sure they understand how to use the card. We hate to see...
Read moreJust moved to the area and our washer/dryer is on back order. Came here on a Sunday morning to do two loads of laundry. One of the washers malfunctioned halfway through so I had to unload my soaking wet clothes and pay for another washer. Each load costs $6.00 so that was money and time lost.
The dryers work okay but I wanted to check on my clothes halfway through to see if I needed to add more quarters. The dryer stopped working after that and AGAIN I had to move my clothes to a different dryer.
There is no attendant on site and I’m very frustrated. Two loads of laundry cost me $24 which is ridiculous. Do...
