Mailed a fragile package through PH for, firstly, an obscene amount of money. I chose PH due to the fact it uses many differing courier companies for the best deal I could find.
I had called my local Postmaster to inquire how to package this fragile parcel. He instructed me on what best practice would be, and I followed it to the letter. Mailed the package, and it arrived at its destination with a HOLE punched THROUGH the center of the package, contents completely destroyed.
PH will not refund the cost of shipping because "my package was not professionally packaged." I guess I wasn't aware that to mail fragile parcels in the United States they now have to be professionally packaged? I wasn't even told my parcel needed to be professionally packaged, was not informed of a policy, or even hinted at that it wasn't packaged appropriately. No.
