There is a young pharmacy tech there who is very rude. She commented as me and another customer were at the counter that, “our hours must not be posted properly.” It was 10 mins before they closed. She then turned the lights off. I can’t believe a corporation like CVS allows their employees to close their pharmacies early. If you are going to stop helping people 10 mins early and turn your lights off, then your hours should say you close at 4:50. While I know it’s frustrating when customers come up right before close (sorry I didn’t cut my eye early enough in the day for her), it’s extremely unprofessional and rude to act the way she acted. They were still open. She could have rang several customers out before they closed. She also told me it takes 30 mins to an hour for scripts to come through the computer, which is hilarious and not true. This isnt 1999, we aren’t waiting on dial up or delivery by carrier pigeon. I went back to urgent care and had my order resent to Walmart and they had it in 2 mins. This cvs is always backed up which is bad enough, so this tech should really try being kind since they bring nothing else to the table. I hope she never gets injured or sick and needs any sort of empathy because she certainly won’t deserve it with the attitude she...
Read moreThis place sucks. If it wasn't in Target, I would never use them. I placed my order on their app at 8am so I could pick it up when I picked up my Target order. So, there's four of them, but they ALL take lunch at the same time and close down from 1 to 2. I get there at 2. They don't actually open until 2:05. By then, I'm fifth in a line of 8 or 9, but they have only one at the counter. I get to the counter at 2:10 and Abbey or Allie or whatever tells me my meds aren't ready, but "if you want to give us 20 minutes..." If I wanted to wait 20 minutes I wouldn't have pre-ordered. So, I leave and five minutes later, when I'm already back on the highway, I get the text that my meds are ready for pickup. They just suck. So now I have to drive back to pick up my meds...or maybe I'll go somewhere else even though my CVS prescription plan tries to force me to use CVS. It might be worth the extra money to never use these...
Read moreto those entitled enough to complain about wait times or being placed on hold — i offer you a piece of advice: perhaps you are the problem. retail pharmacy is at a record breaking all time low for staffing with maybe three staff members handling 700 prescriptions and upwards of 50 shots daily, especially with the new vaccines coming out. on top of dealing with phones, insurance, filling, and typing, they’re running around trying to help customers. if you cannot wait an hour for a medication, i feel as though a lesson in planning ahead, patience, and empathy would do you well. i dropped off a prescription today and the technician was so sweet and it was done within 20 minutes. in and out no problem. you’re all finding issues within the inherent system and then putting the fault on the overworked staff. give them a break and write in a diary if you need to complain. i can promise nobody else...
