My daughters bought two bracelets here that broke as soon as they removed the packaging. I went the next morning to return them, and was told by the manager, Mary, that refund for the one bracelet that cash was paid for would have to be credited to my AmEx card because they just opened and she had no cash in the drawer yet. I told her that was hard to believe because all stores have cash in the drawer when they open, to be able to give change to cash paying customers. She insisted there was no cash to give me a refund and that the refund for both bracelets would have to be credited back to my AmEx card. She wasn’t able to get her credit card machine to process the refund on my AmEx card because “AmEx must not have any money available to give me refund either because they just opened the store for the day”, which is just an absurd statement. Mary then opened the cash drawer and gave me the refund in cash, cash she told us she didn’t have three minutes earlier. Mary and her coworker, a taller older woman, were both quite rude and had attitudes. Mary is obviously a dishonest person who lies to customers to suit her own needs and this store sells junky merchandise, in my opinion. I have three daughters and we’ve been shopping here for years, but we won’t be going back because of this experience. I am a business owner and would terminate Mary’s employment immediately, as she is a terrible representative of this business, especially being the store manager. Do yourself a favor and...
Read moreMy new obsession. This shop has an amazing selection of rocks, minerals, crystals, dreamcatchers, and SO much more! The staff is as kind as could be, and so very knowledgeable. There's pieces here for every budget. From larger than life collectable pieces, to everyday wearables, this shop really has it all. I will definitely be spreading the word about this gem!!
Personal story As if I wasn't already impressed, my daughter set her phone down somewhere in the shop. We got quite carried away browsing through, and she didn't even realize she no longer had it. An easy hour and a half later, we got to our car and she says to me, "Can I have my phone back now?" Which immediately made my heart stop because she never handed me her phone. After frantically searching through all our shopping bags from the day, I knew she left it somewhere. Naturally I began calling it. Only for her to say, "That's not going to help. I keep it on silent." I kept trying anyway while we started retracing our steps. Finally, a young woman picked up and said that they found my daughter's phone in the shop and were holding onto it for her. We booked it back over to the shop, and we all enjoyed a good laugh about it. Thank you SO much...
Read moreOver priced. Their over flow of income is made from overpriced items that tourist purchase. (Robbery) I once purchased a ring and the gem fell off. My most recent purchase was an incense holder. I cashier if the ashes would not scatter around. She said it would not. Of course she was wrong. Due to their old system at a new age store. They are unable to give refunds w/o paper receipt. It’s posted visibly types of payments they receive and the kind they don’t. What customers miss is the signage on the bottom by your knees where it states their refund policy. The items I purchased were clearly from this location. No where ON NMB are these type of items. Plus, the cashier remembered from the day before since I specifically asked her a question. Good for tourist since it’s located at bare foot. Bad for locals due to their poor business etiquette and price gouging.
I frequented here often, since I’m a local.
I will take my...
