Dollar General — Local services in North Topsail Beach

I pay Dollar General a visit when I don't feel like driving in to Jacksonville. Alot of times I end up driving to Jacksonville anyway, because Dollar General doesn't have what I am looking for. It is a great place to buy greeting cards. You can get most cards for $1. There are some that are two for $1. Sometimes they gave special cards that are $2, but even at $2 that is a steal! Cards are very expensive. The cheapest one you get at Wal-Mart or any other store is usually $4 or more. There are things at Dollar General that are a way better deal than other places, and there are things at Dollar General that are priced way too high. Typically this is my favorite DG but management doesn’t seem to be very helpful. They double scanned my item yesterday and charged me twice for it. Didn’t notice until I got home. Make sure you get a physical copy of your receipt here and check it. I had a picture of my receipt but that wasn’t enough. And once I found the physical receipt they weren’t even able to use it for the refund anyway. Inconvenient

I really like how Dollar General has become part of everyone's household. I can remember when I used to shop there on occasions that I was just flat broke and my budget cried for a break. Dollar General was there for me then and is still there for me with not only the same great money saving products but also with products that keep them on the map as far as things you see and just automatically get the "I wants".
