Review of Parlor Doughnuts
Parlor Doughnuts stands out as a premier destination for those who appreciate the art of gourmet doughnuts, and my recent visit was elevated by the remarkable service from Talor, Aadil, and Lily. From the moment I stepped inside, the inviting atmosphere enveloped me, a promising prelude to what was to come.
The selection of doughnuts at Parlor is nothing short of extraordinary. Each variety is meticulously crafted, offering a range of flavors that appeal to both classic and adventurous palates. I sampled several, from the luscious chocolate glaze to the uniquely flavored seasonal specials. The doughnuts were perfectly airy yet satisfying, demonstrating a commitment to quality ingredients and expert preparation. Itās clear that each doughnut is a labor of love, crafted with precision and creativity.
Talorās enthusiasm for the offerings was infectious. With genuine passion, Talor shared the stories behind various flavors, explaining how seasonal ingredients inspired the latest creations. This personalized touch made the experience feel more like a conversation with a friend rather than a simple transaction. Talorās recommendations were spot on; they guided me towards trying the caramel doughnut, which turned out to be an outstanding combination of sweet and savory.
Aadilās role in the process was equally impressive. With an impressive attention to detail, he prepared each order with care, ensuring that every doughnut was presented beautifully. Watching Aadil work was a reminder of how important craftsmanship is in food preparation. His efficiency and precision did not detract from the warmth of the service; rather, it enhanced it, showcasing a perfect blend of skill and hospitality.
Lilyās vibrant energy added another layer to the overall experience. Her welcoming demeanor made me feel at home, and her keen eye for customer satisfaction was evident. She took the time to check in, ensuring that my experience was nothing short of perfect. Itās rare to find a team that works so harmoniously, and their camaraderie translated into a joyful atmosphere that is hard to resist.
The ambiance of Parlor Doughnuts further enriches the experience. The stylish dĆ©cor combined with comfortable seating creates a cozy environment that invites guests to linger. Itās the kind of place where you can enjoy a leisurely coffee and doughnut, catching up with friends or simply savoring a moment of indulgence.
In conclusion, Parlor Doughnuts is a must-visit for anyone who loves exceptional pastries, but what truly sets it apart is the outstanding service from Talor, Aadil, and Lily. Their dedication to customer satisfaction and their genuine love for what they do shine through, making every visit a memorable occasion. I left feeling not just satisfied by the delicious doughnuts but also uplifted by the welcoming atmosphere and the incredible staff. Highly...

The service was fine. Although you can tell they are still new and working out the kinks. The line was inside past the front door and the wait was about 15 minutes total.
I got a pack of four doughnuts: Maple Bacon, Bourbon Caramel, Turtle & French Toast (says it's the most popular). I also got a coffee and two dog doughnuts (which are refrigerated).
The coffee is decent and probably better than DD coffee.
Maple Bacon - my favorite! So flavorful - very tasty and fresh! Could use MORE bacon, but when is there enough bacon!?
Bourbon Caramel - this doughnut is confused and doesn't know what it wants to be when it grows up. It was a bit confusing, but it's okay. More caramel than bourbon.
Turtle - this doughnut tastes like candy. It was very good. More dense than my other choices.
French Toast - even though this is the most popular, it was my least favorite. It didn't taste like french toast. In fact, after trying 1/2 of each of the four doughnuts I had - my mouth has that greasy taste like I've been eating fried foods all day at a fair. I would not recommend eating four doughnuts in one sitting.
I would go back though - definitely! To try more doughnuts - some of the fruit-filled and seasonal ones PLUS other coffee drinks and their sandwiches and breakfast tacos!
I think they have a rewards program, but it was not offered to me. Maybe you need to purchase MORE than...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI work at a nearby business and kept hearing about and reading rave reviews about the new Parlor Doughnuts right here in Munster. Iām not much of a doughnut person but I do love a good cup of coffee, hot or iced and the occasional machta or chai latte. Finally today I checked out all their wonderful options for drinks, food and delicious looking breakfast food offerings. I placed my order and made my first trip down the street after work. There were a couple employees in there and all of them were busy getting orders ready for customers. Service was friendly and I didnāt wait long. I ordered three doughnuts to take home. I would equate them more to beautifully decorated and flavorful cakes. My daughter, her boyfriend and I indulged in tasting a little of each - raspberry pistachio, turtle cheesecake and churro. Each one tasted delicious and fresh! My favorite was churro. My daughter ordered iced machta with vanilla syrup and I had a āLondon Fogā style hot tea with milk and lavender syrup. Neither were overly sweetened in fact they were just perfect. You can order them less or more sweet with a choice of syrups and milk type. The girls working there were very friendly and nice and didnāt mind answering some quick questions and engaging in a little conversation. Very nice looking place. Itās a different twist to the doughnut and coffee/tea scene and well worth the visit !! Itās five stars for me !...
