ALDI — Local services in North Union Township

I am not a fan of the store. Firstly, the store is crowded, not only with all kinds of junk but with people. The brand's are generic and seem a little higher priced than they should be. There are a lot of organic labeled foods here that are priced higher than other grocery stores. This is supposed to be a place where you can buy food cheaply. The main isles are stuffed with all kinds of other products like toasters, home goods, decorative items,etc. This is a nightmare when everyone is pushing through the place. They seem to have a wide variety of products but I always have to shop somewhere else to pick up the things I didn't find. The buggies are annoyingly connected by a quarter lock that just makes things weird. You can use a credit card now but have to pack your own food up. I prefer Save-A-Lot simply because the prices are better and you have a bigger store with more room and more food...

Very sad to see that they put self service lanes in and took out real cashiers. Of course all their prices have risen, but how much more will they raise due to higher theft from their self serve? A couple of prices have dropped. Only one real cashier. Other than that about the same. You used to be able to save money here. Eh not so much anymore, the prices are getting too high and the shelves are usually empty. I can get more and better products shopping the sales at the bigger grocery stores. Keeps getting more expensive. Ugh. Keep getting less and less for the money. ** update. Shelves not being stocked, half the items I shop for there are never there anymore. Produce is also very slim picking. And so many items that the prices are being raised are not coming from overseas so stop using the tariff excuse for the prices. It's...

What can I say, I LOVVVVVE this place. Their prices are fantastic, the quality and selection of foods is great. Their produce is affordable, in a time when eating healthy can be so darn expensive.

They have great take and bake pizzas, that are $2 less the competition and better in my opinion. You will find more affordable organic products here, along with everyday household needs. And they have a great seasonal aisle where you can find a variety of home items. Did I mention how affordable they are. I save between 40-50% on my grocery bill, compared to the big box stores.
