Being a man of very modest means a store such as Jackson & Connor would have been one that I normally would pass by. I'm glad I didn't. Not only do they have style options in a variety of price ranges, but the quality is superb. Saving to spend a little extra here goes miles beyond buying lower quality standards in other places. But it is not the variety of style or the quality that has quickly turned me into a new and expectedly loyal customer. It is the flawless service that Will and his team provide. Their fun, playful personalities; their honest, down-to-earth approach; their extensive product knowledge and resources; their genuine desire to see you smile - whether you're just stopping buy or making a purchase. All without pretense, without judgement, without pressure. An experience unlike anything I have experienced in any business anywhere. Period.

A couple of tips: Don't be afraid to browse. The variety of clothing, styles and options grows as you explore every nook and cranny of this store. Plus, there are some fun accents that give you some insight into the personality of the store and it's owner, Will. Also, ask for suggestions. They will hand you things that you wouldn't have thought of before, that is likely to match exactly what you seek. One other thing - try things on. They tailor everything to fit your style, your comfort and your body.

We used Jackson & Connor for the suits for my husband, our fathers, and his 6 groomsmen on our wedding day. After looking around, we found that their prices were extremely competitive with some of the big, chain menswear brands, and offered a much higher quality suit. Also we love keeping things local, so they were the best choice. Their storefront is gorgeous and all of their staff is amazing. They know menswear inside and out and have impeccable taste. If you want a gorgeous, well made, perfectly tailored suit - this is exactly the place for you. However, they were definitely not as familiar with these bulk-orders-for-weddings thing. We had several little issues in the weeks leading up to our wedding.. my dad's suit was ordered wrong and had to be reordered, which took forever and made me really nervous it wouldn't come in time. We were unable to get vests to complete the 3 piece suits because the manufacturer ran out, and we were never informed until the suits came in and my husband went to try it on and was like 'hey, where's the vest?'. Just general poor communication, seeming like we were getting flimsy answers for issues we were having. It was frustrating.. But on the day of the wedding the guys looked amazing and everything worked out - that's what matters! Our family visited Jackson and Connor today to get our son fitted for a suit following gender transition. We could not have had a better experience and could not recommend the shop more highly.

There were a lot of fun options! Had good staples, basics, and neutrals, as well as colorful, patterned, and otherwise funky options as well. Our favorites were definitely the assortment of feather bow ties.

Alana was so helpful and wonderful to work with. She made our son feel so comfortable and guided him through the process. We quickly found a suit he loved, and she helped us find shirts and ties that fit his needs as well as personality. She really took the time to make sure that everything fit very well and was pinned for the tailor properly.

Alana was also super queer informed. She always used correct pronouns and she was knowledgeable about how transition can change how a suit fits/hangs, and how to tailor it properly. Her energy was infectious and it was such a fun visit. For any trans or gender nonconforming people, this is an excellent shop to visit. Our little queer family was welcomed and treated very well.
