25 Central — Local services in Northampton

I drive two hours a couple times a year just to shop at 25 Central. The store itself is aesthetically pleasing. Everything from clothes to accessories and everything in between is unique. From basic pieces with beautiful details to bold designs, no matter what your style is. There’s something special for everyone. Katie is the sweetest! She has an incredible vest and passion for her business. You can tell she puts a lot of thought into the products/pieces she chooses. The employees are great too! They offer to hold the things you’ve picked out so you hands are free to shop around the store more and grab you a different size while you’re trying things on. Sadly really disappointed in 25 central. I went in for the first time about a week ago. At the time, I was really impressed. I liked literally everything in there. I was going to add it to my rotation of shops I shop at! I bought two items. One of which fit perfectly! The other one was unfortunately too small for my chest.I brought it back today to return it only to be told that they do not offer returns/refunds. Only store credit. No one advised me of this when I made the initial purchase. I am now so frustrated because it just feels so dishonest. As someone who works in customer service, this leaves a poor taste in my mouth. Disappointed. I have shopped for many years at 25 Central. I do believe their quality of clothing has gone down. I recently bought a jumpsuit that I really loved. I wore it once and one of the straps broke in an unusual way. A seamstress told me it was a manufacturing defect and could not be repaired. I brought it back to 25 Central and explained the situation, asking if there might be another one that I could replace it with. The woman said "no." That's it. No offer of credit, nothing. She did not seem concerned at all. So, I have an outfit that I would love to wear but cannot. I would tell shoppers to be aware of the quality of what you are buying. It's too bad, it was great...
