Smith College — Local services in Northampton

I enjoyed the classes I took at Smith while I was attending nearby Hampshire College. I took several courses (mainly during my second & third years @ Hampshire) and enjoyed the campus resources Smith had to offer.

I also ❤️'d visiting the Smith College Museum of Art a great deal also, and attending concerts @ John M. Greene Hall as well. Post-graduation from Hampshire, I lived in Northampton for awhile and I would use Smith for it's library resources (Neilson is a FANTASTIC library!); as well as attending events and just walking around the campus (visiting the Botanical Garden or kayaking on Mill River Reservoir) were nice ways to...

Most institutions of higher learning have readily accessible phone numbers on the several web pages that may be opened initially. Smith does not. Not the best experience for some of my closest friends. A lot of social pressure and bullying that she spent years in therapy for afterwards. Sadly had to spend years deprograming herself and regaining any sort of confidence in her own identity. Ridiculed by students and staff alike for not conforming to divisive opinions.
