I love going to Makeshift so much. I have 3 of their license plate pi signs and a ton of their jewelry. I get a TON of compliments on both. I also feel very proud of my unique pieces that encompass history, specifically my World War II inspection plate jewelry. I also love the metal ruler collections and machine plate collections. And it’s clearly such high quality work.

I’ve met the owners and gone back into the studio space. They’re super kind people!! First, the family who owns the business are just fun to talk to. Also, business wise, they are very accommodating. At one point I had commissioned them to make a custom pi sign. I didn’t specify the wood and realized after the entire thing was built that I hadn’t specified my preference. They graciously made me a completely new sign with my wood of choice, not charging me any extra either.
