I am beginning my switch of allegiance for my sourdough preference to the bread people. I've noticed this place for some time but I worked at a nearby bakery that does have very good bread and felt loyal to that location for a long time. However, I haven't worked there in a few years so I say anything is fair game. When I stopped in just to check this place out after getting a coffee next door I was wowed with the pungent delicious smell of sourdough. I bought a loaf while drooling over the good looking baked goods on display. Comparing the baked goods here to the ones from the other place is just apples/oranges IMO. Now that I know, I can appreciate a different level or approach to producing quality baked goods. I think the bread people are onto something. Aside from that the employees are quite nice, helpful and eager to add new customers. I have a loaf of the cinnamon raisin bread waiting for me now. I did try a bit the day I bought it and it was delish! I like to use bread over time so I may be different then some. I'll freeze it if it won't be used for a while, but I also don't mind storing some in the frig, too. I like dense, chewy bread. The store looks clean, modern, inviting and the goods are displayed attractively. All these things guarantee I'll be returning. Hope they continue to do well! Can't wait to try their...
