Costco is great as long as you go there knowing your budget and what you actually should be buying from Costco. Me, for example, toiletries, general supplies, like paper plates or water or drink very like eggs and milk. Theyāre baked a good section is also really good if a little pricey for me. The fruit is really well priced in my opinion quality to match the only thing I really donāt get from Costco or meat. Iām assuming it might be because theyāre a higher quality. But buying meat Costco is a dream. personally I buy my meat elsewhere. frozen stuff like orange chicken or hotdogs, frozen pizzas, even frozen veggies there are certain things like the frozen veggies where they donāt have too much of a variety when it comes to specific products, but Iāve never gotten something from Costco and regretted it or returned it. But I canāt stress this enough the folk is both a good and a bad thing depending on the size of your family or quickly use things up. Itās excellent for me because what I mainly buy there are supplies not necessarily food unless itās frozen even without buying any meat or bakery goods every month I spend around 300 there overall I do think itās money well spent and the membership program is another excellent thing where they give you most of your money back in a form of a check Especially you have executive membership. Mine came with $52 in it the staff is always helpful. The aisles are always clean and well organized. The only two things I can really complain about is the lack of aisle identifiers, and the line to the pizza in the afternoon throughout the weekdays. But honestly, for the price of their pizzas, Iām...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHonestly I wasnāt going to waste my time with this but I had to say something about my experience today. First off I went to self check out where I go to pay by myself and not have to deal with anyone. Lately some of the employees here seem to think they can go around giving certain customers an attitude and making up rules as they go. Of course an employee named Sindy comes at me with an attitude that I canāt go to self check out because I have two carts and will be doing two separate transactions. I asked her if my money is not good here and I wonāt be bothering you as I will be scanning everything quickly and it was not a lot of items. Mind you I have done this various times and never had an issue. Employee blocked me from having access to cash register and was very confrontational. Costco train your staff better and tell them to leave the attitude elsewhere before you begin to lose customers. She made my mother who is elderly go back around with her cart and form a line. I stayed to quickly scan my five things so that I could go help my mom who does not know how to use the machines. The employees here need to stop with the politics! And not all of them some are really nice at this location in Norwalk. Honestly if you guys provided one of those gun scanners for the big items and eliminated the employees who have nothing better to do like Sindy then try and not move around while they are there pretending to work at that self checkout section maybe things like this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went into Costco in Norwalk today to buy a members card and I did not have a good experience. First of all regardless of what type of member card you decide to buy, every member is entitled to polite service. It was very apparent after choosing a Gold Members card over the top Executive Members card, my sales associate had no time or patience for me. Every response from him after I declined the Executive card was dismissive, short and borderline rude. Then when I moved over to take my picture, the woman at this station was equally unprofessional. After she identifies me by name she tells me to stand in front of the blue background. Without a verbal cue of "you ready, or look over here? she just snaps the picture. Literally giving me what looked like a mug shot. When I asked her could I take it over and possibly smile before she snaps the photo, she and the other associate I started my transaction with rolled eyes at each other as if to indicate that I was bothering them at WORK? In short, Costco please do not put people at member services who have poor customer service skills. I understand that Saturdays are hectic, I understand people get tired, but this is the job you chose. My money, my presence and my time desire your attention and your professionalism regardless if I pay $65 or $130. This was not a great first impression for this location, but I am hoping the experience and the customer service will get better over the duration of...
