Today I went in to Norwalk Home Depot to pick up a can of paint. After waiting 20 minutes a woman finally came to the paint department to help. I asked if she could mix my gallon for me ,she stared at me, did not say a word grabbed the can, mixed it, and gave it back. After giving it back, I asked her for a paint stir that normally comes free with the gallon that she had given to the previous two male customers. She told me “ I give it out when we have them” I said you just gave it to the man before me, she then pointed me to the wooden paint stir pack of 10 for $1.00. I told her I would not be purchasing a pack of 10 for one paint can I usually just get the free one that comes with it. She continued to lie to me and would not give me the free paint stir. I walked to the back of the counter and there it was A BUCKET of Home Depot Stirs! I called her over and pointed to the bucket and said they are all right there behind the counter, can I please have one. She stared at me for a good 30 seconds (because I just caught her in a lie) stomped over to grab one and finally gave me the paint stir. She then kicked the bucket under the counter and gave me the dirtiest look as I walked away. I felt completely unvalued as a woman and customer of the store. This worker was there today 12/17 at 10:45 AM. If you do not want to work at one of the biggest stores and not treat customers with respect and dignity you should not be working there at all. Have some heart and human kindness, there was no need to lie and discriminate just because I am a woman. I will not be going back to this store because of this, this employee at the paint...
Read moreI went into the Home Depot In Norwalk I waited for five minutes watching the cashiers in return center playing on the iPhones after that I have asked anyone is going to help me I was told to go to a register number two with attitude and so much unprofessionalism, they couldn’t find my order number in the computer to return my items even though I provided it then I asked for the manager and the manager came and had even more attitude than the cashier she spent 15 minutes on the phone talking about my return then she tells me she cannot take online orders back to the store, of course I knew it’s not sure I shop in Home Depot almost every day I forced her to call another supervisor who confirmed the items can be in fact returned to the store, In total it took me 53 minutes to return six small sample boxes of tile, while I was there I saw multiple customers coming to the register and complain no one would help them in the store and the response from both the manager and the cashier whose name was James Elkins at least this is what it says on my receipt from September 21, 2022 at 12:17 PM, their response was just go wait in the aisle someone will be there with so much disrespect to the customers, Not only they were not trained to treat customers with respect they also did not know how to make a simple return, I literally had to myself tell them how to do each step! Now we all know Home Depot in Norwalk is the worst one they never there to help you all of them have horrible attitude nobody wants to work if a manager reading this with anyone that cares please change that that store...
Read moreZero STARS! I went to Home Depot in Norwalk, CT to make a payment. Two employees from Home depot were talking facing each other, at first (I thought he was a customer, so I kept waiting behind him), after 2-3 mins he went where the cashier was and continued to talk to his co-worker Brittany and typing something on the computer. I felt bad to interrupt them thinking that its obvious that they see me waiting to be helped, but its okay I'll continue to wait. As the time passed by, I've noticed that I'm being ignored and I went to another cashier, asked her to see if I can make a payment. She said I'm busy right now look for another cashier if its open, so I went back to the same one. Finally, the male worker (that was talking to his co-worker Brittany) asked me if I needed anything. I responded back "Obviously, I do" I heard his co-worker Brittany telling him "I am not going to help her"... I said excuse me, I would like to talk to the manager please. She responded back, I am the manager! She kept telling her other co-workers, its not my fault right.. I waited all that time, and kept ignoring me not even to say "sorry but I really can't help right now or would have to wait" but instead she had the nerve to say I am not helping her.. She continued to argue with me and started lying that she never said anything. I would hate to get anyone in trouble, but its a shame to treat your customers so poorly and refuse...
